Well, it’s just that easy! Seriously though, you are AMAZING....I could get as far as getting the vehicle jacked up...a man has to know his limits! Well done, Sir!
I’m currently doing this on axel stands and in the video you can’t see how tight every bolt is to the gearbox it’s an absolute nightmare, if you’ve got the money I’d definitely recommend using a garage but if not a sweat jar could be quite beneficial 😂
How many of these have you done, quite a few id imagine?, to do a clutch like that without a ramp isnt an easy feat and you do it methodically, very good video!
That's for the safety purpose. 😅😅😅😅 Or at least if the supervisor watch him his is alright .. he knows that only 2 are enough, but for others that watch the video won't get confused and do the same without even knowing what the risks are .
I have a 2014 Ford Transit Connect 2.5 liter automatic USA and it stopped going forward or in reverse one day I put it throught the gears and it would not move Engine smooth and when I cut it off it would not crank the engine you could only hear the strater spin. I took the belts off to make sure no pulley siezed and cleaned the grounds same thing starter just spns and the crank does not turn. I turned the engine clockwise with a long extension to make sure the engine was not locked. then I changed the starter same thing. with the starter off if I turned the crankshaft the flly wheel would turn but when i turned the flywheel clockwise the crank doesnt turn I do see all of the flywheeel bolts still connected. Do you think it is the flywheel/flexplate that is broken???
A bit hard to say for definite. But from experience what you’re describing sounds like a slipped timing belt and no compression on engine. Possible bent valves. Be interesting to know when you find out the issue. Let us know.
