literally the same exact key and fob from my 2004 Toyota Solara....its like they found an old box in the basement and decided to use them up!

In 2007 per say, the Tundra was at the top of the class. With the much better interiors of the Silverado and new F-150 I'd say it's at the bottom.

i like the new Tundras. they are pretty much trouble free, and better quality than Silverados/F-Series trucks. i dont hate Fords or Chevys, but honestly if you want a trouble free truck, the tundra is the best bet.

They are not higher quality than the other trucks. That's just the perception that Toyota gives off, that they're more reliable. They are not.

HCFX2011 Actually they are much more reliable, I drove my 2008 Crew max over 100k miles before switching to the 2014 1794 edition I have now and never had a problem. I have plenty of friends who have had lots fail on their F-150s and Silverados within the first 50k miles. The most that happened with my Tundra was the water pump cracked during a very cold winter, it was covered under warrenty and replaced np.

Well Im not a GM fan. At all. But the Tundra is my 2nd favorite truck, next to the F series. Ram comes 3rd, and the Titan comes fourth. I think they're all great trucks!

I would think for a new truck it would be a smooth ride on bumpy roads. Because yeah in the Ford trucks it is real smooth.

personally I find the Silverado or Ram to be the smoothest riding trucks. I've driven every large truck except the Tundra at work and found the current F150 to have a really bouncy suspension which I'm not crazy about. Both the Chevy and Ram have a more solid suspension though I will admit the Ford has a certain solid feel that I like.

Now I can say it is possible to have a problem with thirty miles on it me and my grand dad had a new rental two years ago a 2013 Tahoe with less then a 150 miles on it and it blew up and would not stay in cruise control

Ohhhh. Toyota definitely improved on this Tundra but it's still lacking. I prefer imports but I think American trucks are still better in terms of longevity for work or play.

Djonkie Bonk you are right, the tundra has never been top-of-the-class as far as strength and towing capacity. i think if toyota developed a HD chassis with a diesel engine option, people will stop calling toyota's "weak".

bmwmsport11 The Tundra was actually classing leading in many ways when this generation was first introduced, but many people believe it's fallen behind. Maybe that's what people believe, but that doesn't mean it's a bad truck. I still consider it to be very dependability and far more capable than most people realize. We had three Tundra pickups in our fleet, one with with nearly 200k miles of mostly towing and stop and go, but it never let us down.

No. Current offering is a 4.0L V6, 4.6L V8, & the 5.7L V8.

Something is wrong with the truck cause the check engine light is on and when he put it on 4 wheel drive and made that clunk noise I'm pretty sure that wasn't normall cause its a brand new truck why the heel would it make that noise when changing it into 4 wheel drive I got a brand new nissan titan and it never makes a clunking noise when I engage the 4 wheel drive

FYI, I have never been in any truck or SUV where the Low Range 4WD engagement hasn't clunked or made any obvious mechanical sounds. And if you had watched the entire video, you would've been told why the Check engine light was on as I informed the audience why during the test drive!

I love to give these Tundras a licking, but I gotta give credit where credit is due. That is a pretty nice interior, but the exterior is still the most hideous I've ever seen. I'd still walk right past it n buy the highest trimmed F-150.

That is the most generic, cheap looking keyfob I have ever seen. It should match with the quality of the interior. But it still looks better than the chrysler/mercedes-benz keyfob.
