Tom Brady and the Pats come off their 6th consecutive first-round bye in the playoffs to take on Andy Reid and the Chiefs, in the teams' first meeting since the Monday night blowout in 2014.
Man I miss this gronkowski. He was just unstoppable and a huge problem. I know he was a lot younger here since he was just 26 years old, but he was truly dominant in this age of the nfl. 2010-2015 gronk man.
I miss seeing guys like Danny "Playoff" Amendola, Malcolm Butler, and Rob Ninkovich out there, but Kyle Van Noy is the NEW Ninkovich - even faster LB! It's crazy our core defense is still there in 2019 - Patrick Chung, Donta Hightower, Jamie Collins, Duron Harmon, Devin McCourty (and now his twin brother) and now the permanent addition of Stephon Gilmore.
Pats beat the Ravens in the 2011 AFC Championship and 2014 divisional. Pats also beat the jets in the 2006 wild card game. So..... they've beaten them too lol
This was the year KC started 1-5 and then went on a huge winning streak to finish 11-5 (Alex Smith is the man, to this day I think SF did him wrong). Also when NE started something like 10-0 only to falter at the end. It was a strange year. Both teams reverted to form somewhat in this game though. It's crazy to think that if not for the loss to Denver next week, NE would have 5 consecutive SB appearances today.
Gronk was tremendous in these playoffs. In the AFC title game at Denver the next week he carried the struggling Patriots offense on his back in a comeback that fell just short.
@@KHayes666 You're absolutely right. They were forced to go for 2 w/ seconds left after Gronk's TD made it 20-18. He was open again in the back of the end zone, btw.
@@threerings1345 true but if Bill kicked that field goal with 7 to go the score would’ve been 21-20 or 23-20 since he probably would’ve went for two. He just got impatient. I don’t blame bill for going for it tho
Great quality. Thanks Bart for the upload. I truly believe we could have made the Super Bowl that season, had it not been for the ridiculous, regular season loss in Denver. We would have gained the home field advantage against Denver and likely would have won the AFC.
@@andremcclendon1220 What’re we talking in terms of the greatest? Stats? Championships? Impact on the game? If it’s any of those, Travis is pretty damn close to Gronk.
If Dion isn't lost halfway through the season and Edelman is healthy the entire year this team probably runs the table! But I guess every team has a similar story pertaining to injuries. But 2015 was a kinda lost year for Patriot fans
They had half their team on IR. Not just Nightcrawler but Trey Flowers, Nate Solder, Tarrell Brown and Legarrete Blount were all out for the season. They were 10-0 and it all fell apart
They were like the Hospital Patriots that season. They were just a 2-point conversion shy of tying/winning in Mile High against arguably the best defense of the decade
yep, i can never get them up on here though, they're always taken down, but i have them all on my channel on a different site: www.bitchute.com/channel/MQyJvyGCNSji/
The Patriots NEED Gronkowski AND Gostkowski back - the 2 most reliable players throughout the years. You can always count on those 2 guys putting up points!
A fun season, likely because of how different it was for the Pats. Normally they start slow and then rally late in the year, this time it was the exact opposite.
SEE! Watch Brady closely and you can see him cheating- he throws the ball directly into the HANDS of his receivers- CHEATER and pure luck too because he does it over and over and over- won't stop! Lol haters ;-)
Even in the Steelers greatest, their best days, we never saw this "perfect pitch" with every single thing that Brady and his players almost never, never miss a ball to catch or miss a thing...even the games always are too perfectly played. I saw football for many decades and though I cannot put a name to it, this one team (ONLY) comes out with 10 or 11 Superbowls in what...12 years, etc? It is way too perfect to be a regular football game. I want to say it is choreographed and it is not believable little skinny, temper tantrum Tommy can do this for 20 years while the truly great Big Ben or some other super players play the greatest games and are lucky to see a Superbowl...something wrong here, and not possible. Odd that we never hear anything about them losing but a few games in decades...odd indeed.
He might not have ever won a Superbowl but I'm glad that not only did he come out of that horrific leg injury alive but be able to play again for a season
Brady threw 11 times on the first drive. No rushes. That's what the 2015 team became after all of the injuries. Very imbalanced offense that Brady had to carry.
They couldn't rush. By that point Nightcrawler, Develin and Blount were all on IR along with Ryan Wendell and Nate Solder from the O-Line. Wade Phillips saw the Patriots couldn't run the ball and prepared the Broncos for it a week later
Man, this was one of those games where the football gods were just on the Patriots' side. There were a lot of games like that during the Brady era. They were great, and I'm definitely not denying that. But they also got a maddening amount of lucky breaks.
I bet that Smith ran more in this game than Mahomes did in the Tampa SB. But that would throw a wrench in KC fans worship of Mahomes, so Smith's running yards will not be measured or checked...
The way Dan Fouts does color for a game shows why his Super Bowl trophies are on Jim Plunkett's mantle...Make a huge mistake and then immediately try to correct it...When he played those mistakes went the other way for six...
4th Quarter (1:49 + - ) 12:30 left NE has just answered a KC touch with a field goal to make it a 2 score game again....KC goes 3 and out and the sharks smell blood in the water. You can feel it, NE is going to dominate. They'll play with their prey...offer a little hope then pull it away "opps, were you thinking comeback." "Sorry."
It’s. amazing how sports talk folks like skip baseless never give defenses any credit for being great. Baseless always talks offense but defense wins rings as we saw with Tampa bay
10:16 HOLDING on Patriot #66 (no call). 14:43 FACEMASK on Patriot #23 (no call). 22:40 ROUGHING on Patriot #50 (no call). 29:33 HOLDING on Patriot #76 (no call). 30:12 HOLDING on Patriot #69 (no call).
@@notoriouseagle1074 I just began listing those. That was just the first quarter. Anytime you analyze a Patriot's game you can spot about 12-15 uncalled penalties. Refs favor the Patriots dramatically it's part of a government-mandated script. Patriot dynasty is fake and Belichick and Brady are average at best.
If you watch all of their games the offensive line would hold for Brady on almost every play and it would never get called. I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed.
They got the Sutton D again in the '18 AFC Championship and it was a huge help. KC stayed in man coverage through the 4th quarter and OT allowing Edelman & Co. to get open.
The more I watch Andy Reid coach, the more I’m convinced he has no clue how to coach. Absolutely atrocious clock management in this game, and in the 2019 Conf. Championship against the Pats, he doesn’t call a timeout to rest his defense and then the Pats ran it right down their throat for the win. I always hear about what a “coaching legend” Reid is but when it comes down to it, he flubs it every time. I’m open to having my mind changed but I just don’t see it
Dude it’s scripted the illimnati will kill him if he gets out of hand there’s no way a 6 round draft pick could have that many championship they all throw up the devil horns sale outs
The Green Pill Mindset shut your recency bias mouth. I never doubted his greatness. However, he still drops a ton of passes and the data supports it. Take your stupidity glasses off and do your homework, moron.
@@joemcneely4322 I remember Welker dropped a lot too. I think it's related to their ammount of targets and ball placements - slots usually have to make the toughest low catches and in traffic. But I agree Edelman stands out in drops anyway
To me Tom Brady is undeniably good but he's a system produced phenom. Belichick is the real genius with his system for offense, defense, selecting the Patriots type of player, motivation etc. It all emanates from Bill Belichick period. What if Brady faced the effective all out blitzes that Patrick Mahomes faced in the AFC Championship game? Would he have been able to get his team in a position to win as Patrick has all season in tough circumstances? He throws from a clean pocket constantly and I've seen Brady try to play in the rare games when he has faced extreme pressure. Losses ... bad losses. Belichick ... greatest of all time but Brady ... I'm not so sure. He's a famous check down and dink and dunk guy sprinkling in the great downfield rope throws. Finally, to me the Greatest of All Time is and should be a character issue also. Brady is a known CHEATER and LIAR. It was a game surely to be a blowout victory for the Pasties and he knowingly broke the rules and then stood on TV and told unconscionable LIES to the world. Pretty boy doesn't convince me or charm me. GOAT ... I for one question that. Without Bill Belichick I doubt Tom is GOAT. He flat doesn't have any of what Patrick Mahomes has ... but who EVER has? Let's see him or any other QB in history make the throws and plays that we've been blessed to see from Patrick in his 19 starts. Proper mechanics? Patrick has them but, unlike any other QB in history, doesn't always need them. Years ago I made a flyfishing trip to a particular state and after a day of fishing a group of fisherman sat down to dinner in a beautiful cabin. The host was a former mob runner (witness relocation program) and some ex NFL players and they were talking about how the league influences the outcomes of game by making certain calls during a game that change the momentum so that the larger market teams usually come out on top. Why u say? Because of the money involved in advertising, marketing of products etc. Rams win the super bowl because they need the Rams to win to keep that franchise viable. Rigged watch a Denver Broncos player lined up off sides in super bowl 50 with no call and then think of the D ford call in the AFC championship. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yQstEaXCsJ4.html
Yeah, system produced 9 superbowl appearences. Give Bellichick a Nobel prize, the man must be the smartest person in history or every single other head coach is a moron, as you expertly proved if you blitz brady all out he's done.
Another regurgitated, idiotic observation from a low I.Q. fan. You clearly don't comprehend the sport enough to recognize just how special Brady is. Your loss. You also don't know what you even mean when you write "system," and you are clueless about Belichick's role on the team. Liar and cheater? Stay ignorant, you imbecile. When stupid people like you exist, it's easier for others to prosper instead. Thank you. Yeah, your last paragraph is bogus, a complete fabrication. You're not fooling me with your inane drivel.
I don't understand poor clock management. But it sure is funny watching a team that's either dumb or already accepted the loss even though they could have still won.
