Man that is a lot of torque, just to keep the Secondary Clutch on . Why is it so much. I have a old Arctic Cat 1995 ZRT 800. And back than it was torqued around 15 lbs to 20 lbs .
I have seen on RU-vid, People have their Arctic Cat Secondary Bolt -break on their snowmobile . I had Arctic Cat Snowmobiles for 31 years . I have been Snowmobiling for 46 years. Back than Arctic Cat company told you to torque to 20lbs, on the Secondary Clutch. All the years I have rode. NEVER , NEVER have I had a Secondary Bolt break. And my Secondary Clutch Bolt Have NEVER NEVER COME LOOSE. I would think that 45lbs torque would keep that Clutch on. Unless they want to sell Parts, for their Business. And those parts have to break some way.
+Jonathan J. Anderson Thanks for the feedback, Jonathan. I'll mention your idea to the team and see if we can't get a proper suspension setup video in the works.
Did you guys fix all the customers melted belts and correct the cause on the 1100 turbos? Or it really didnt happen and it was just something that was on the "internet"
Do you guys have a video that deals with 2016 zr7000 clutch rattling .... Just bought a leftover yesterday. Brand new. Zero miles. Clutch is rattling heavily. Is this a known issue? Is there a cure? Quite disappointing bringing it home, giving as a gift, and when started it sounds like a rattle box from the primary clutch.
Hey pal, hope u found some info for your clutch, just bought a 2018 8000 El Tigre, looking for a channel or web site for tips on how too for 2 stroke cats
Thanks for the video I have a few of these shity sleds since then I’ve been buying Polaris way easier to maintain in every way possible, before the 16 we have to replace the primary or the secondary they give no shits about the consumer or just have shity engineers
