I got the double wall. I like its look. over time, I do feel annoyed by the drone whenever I am going up the mountains. Especially those long stretched uphill roads...I would think twice if I go on a long trip with this exhaust. On the other hand, I'm really happy with this exhaust whenever I drive local, or commute.

good question. They do have a larger silver tips crimped on these small tips. they were stolen...one of the motivation to change to these axle back exhausts.

I saw having some resonators to remove noise at certain rpm somewhere, but I didn't do it. so can't tell from personal experience. I swap back to the OEM when I find the drone too annoying.

@@dannythewildcard1026 would it be replacing the oem resonators or adding 2 additional resonators?

@@AlexVorasane the one i saw is adding more resonators. better consult exhaust experts to be sure.

if you are talking about the whine that they make during acceleration, ive heard that its from either some sort of belt, maybe the timing belt… or maybe some sort of pump, i dont think anyone truly knows

i have the AWD, so 6 speed auto. around 70mph is ok for me because the road noise takes over. I'm using all season performance tires (if you use touring tires, the road noise could be smaller). Around 80mph i start to hear the drones, but i'm ok with it.

@@kavishdaya3594 My take is that it's an annoying frequency of sound that you constantly hear while driving. And sometimes also rattles the interior plastic parts of your car.

It does feel a bit much drones on uphill mountain roads between 2k to 3k rpm. Not sure if the non-AWD 8speed trans would do better. But still love the sounds whenever pushing it!

This is an f sport. You can tell by the LFA gage cluster. However, 2016 F Sport and 2016 Base have no performance differences. They only have cosmetic differences.

abswan97 i would say sound is quite subjective. During normal acceleration on D gear, since the gears are not locked, it does have drone (a big annoying) from 2k to 2.5k rpm. Should be able to hear it in the video using headphone. Using manual mode is better. Highway is ok since the road noise is on par with the exhaust note. However, my friend who mod his car quite heavily say it’s not loud. Overall, I enjoy it. It does pop sometimes when I let go the gas.
