2016 Mazda CX5 Front brake pads and rotors replacement 

Thanks so much for providing us with this great quality and easy to follow guide. Now that I'm getting older I want to start fixing my automobile myself. I've been to a ton of shops and I've always had a problem. One took the clips from my car and put it on his own BMW because he was missing some. I just had the Mazda dealership do an inspection on my car and I was given my car back without tire caps on the one side of my car. I had just got home when I noticed and I know they are going to say that it was my fault or some crap like that. They don't cost much but still. I had a Mercedes that went in for a simple oil change. I didn't even make it home before all the oil was drained out of my car. I was told the mechanic didn't put the washer for the screw on the oil pan. Long story short the car was never the same because it stalled from having no oil. It was pretty scary to because it died while trying to merge on the highway and a truck almost killed me. So now I rather just do the work myself because I know it will get done right. Thanks again!

Torque specs for 2013-2016 Mazda CX5 Mazda CX-5 Front Caliper Slide Pin Torque Spec : 24 ft-lbs Mazda CX-5 Front Brake Bracket Torque Specs : 75 ft-lbs Mazda CX-5 Brake Bleeder Screws Torque Spec : 10 ft-lbs Rear caliper bleeder valves is 61 to 86 in.lbf (or 6.9 to 9.8 N.m).

Thank you for an informative video on this topic. I had done this for my 08 Honda Pilot, and now need to do it for my 16 Mazda CX-5. Relieved to note that the steps are very similar. Do you happen to know where to find the torque specs for all the bolts? Thanks again!!

How do you tell if it’s the front or rear rotors causing a pulsation? I’ve got a 2016 CX-5 my gf and I just got and the pulsation is not bad but getting there. Anyway to to make sure it’s not a sticking caliper?

No need to bleed the brakes when changing rotors and pads?
