I have the same exact truck (including color) but 2017 and 2wd. I wanted to get Nittos and 3" leveling kit but not sure I want to invest the cash being its only 2wd. Sweet looking ride dude I agree you could easily squeeze some 35s under there..
I'm about to do a 3" lift kit on my 2016 ram 1500 with 33/12.5/20 tires on my stock rims I know I'll be fine with not rubbing on height but what about when I'm turning? Will I have any problems rubbing width wise?
Did u have to use spacers to clear upper control arm. Also how u get a 12 wide tire to fit 20x9 oem rim i bought this kit with same tire and my dealer said they won't be able to fit that size on rim. Is your offset +18 thanks i just really confused
xdm45 zeek Room for days on the stock OEM 20x9 rim. Not sure of the offset with the stock rims, but yes there are non-centric spacers on the front hubs. I’ll post an update in the description soon.
Hey man are these the f rated tires? Ive been thinking of getting some ridge grapplers put from what I’ve read the f rated tires ride stiffer. Hows the ride quality with the tires?
ncurc 97 actually I was disappointed with the Rough Country 3” Lift as far as performance -way more body sway (than stock). Bumps/Cracks were not amplified under normal street driving. The ride overall is mushy. The lift introduced a ton of body sway, evident when steering. The kit includes front and rear spacers, and I added the Rough Country rear shocks replacing the OEMs)
None whatsoever. The 3" level is designed with the correct geometry for the RAM. The 33s on stock rims cleared the fender and suspension with ease. No turning rub or clearance loss.
After 1year, i am just now noticing a very slight whine on the freeway ... still very happy with the 'quiet' overall compared to other tires I've heard. You still know its a truck, without the howling "annoyance" at speed.
Oh one more question when you installed your level did you change your ucas also ? Ans if not have you had any wear and tare on the suspension like on the ucas and joints etc ? Since the level
@@victorortega2718 if you're asking about the upper control arm (ucas?) -the Rough Country 3" Leveling Kit includes control arms and everything needed for the level. Hope this answers your question.
@@tonygondek550 with spacers? What size? I am pickin a set of 33x12.5's up and have read different results as to rubbing. Will I need spacers to avoid rubbing?
xdm45 zeek none so far. The Rough Country 3" Level Kit comes with control arms that are angled for correctness, I am mostly street, so no issues (after 1yr). The lift def did introduced body roll/sway (from stock).
