Forget the fact that you are working on a specific model, imagine the worst-case scenario every time, which is called "Risk Assessment", 98% of work-related accidents are preventable, Later in the video you mentioned that you could hear the brake caliper motor moving, this is also a test that you should mention at the beginning of the troubleshooting based on the bad switch, such as when you operated the switch and you mentioned all the lights in the dash, you should also mention that there was no audible sound from the rear brake caliper motor, yes, maybe all these types of audible tests are not very audible but mostly the EPB is. Electronic parking brake is one of the stupidest "innovations" to add to a car. It really adds no value, but adds more problems than it solves. Should stay with a physical manual emergency/parking brake.
You can if you want. Either way you have to remove the whole piece assembly out to replace the park button. You buy it new, the switch come as a whole piece unit.
