DO you like this 270mcx turbokit? I will put some turbokit to next winter.. I am thinking between MCX, Proboost or MPI turbokit? Which one you recommend for me? Greetings from Finland.
Liked the sled and power alot, but the weight and lack of ability to throw it where i wanted it made me go back to 2 stroke. No belt problems at all, changed one belt in 900km. Not because it blew, but because i installed OSP belt deflection tool and fitted the Nytro belt instead of the Viper belt.
Ive heard of the 1100 belt problems. Yamaha has their own clutches in the Yamacat's, that have been proven to work well with turbos over the last 12 years, all since the first RX-1 was turboed.
I’m sorry but I just listened to both for the first time after reading your comment. 4 stroke turbo sounds way better. The two stroke drones and is annoying...
McXpress 270hp turbo kit, contains all that you need, its a straight bolt on kit, only thing you need to do to the engine is install a head shim that comes with the kit, it lowers the compression so you can ride on straight premium fuel. In this new engine that i have, the rods were to weak to handle anything over 180hp, so i changed the rods, crank and pistons to the older version, that can hndle the turbo kit. This only concerns 2016 models.
@@TasSunvang if you had 3 large injectors could your air fuel ratio be good enough? Also stock mpi kit wouldn't be able to produce 15 psi cause it wouldn't be able to put enough fuel and head gasket would blow ?
@@TasSunvang I bought a used viper the guy said it was 270 hp it has intercooler 4th injector not hooked up but boost gauge would be able to go beyond 12psi. My AFR runs about 11.5 when boosted
