@@srk7555 Hey Steve, well, its been 5 years. I just made the final payment on my 17 Elantra today. 85.000 miles now. O repairs. Just a new battery, and 1 set of new tires.. This review of yours helped make up my mind to buy it. It has turned out to be a GOOD ONE. still looks nearly brand new. Thanks! Still subbed, still enjoying your reviews. Stay well.
Now what will happen when 2017 comes around by view of the actual calender that starts in January? Will anything change or will we get 2 years of the same car?
I get a gag reflex every time I see this "mid-class" cars but Steve - you are showing them so good, that I easily made it to the end of your video. From Russia with love;) Yuri
Thanks! I just posted the 2021 Sonata review that you might want to check out on your channel as well. Plus we just filmed the 2021 Elantra video that we should have up next month (Jan. 2021) if not sooner. I hope you like it as much and subscribe..:) Steve
"WHY BUY ?"....First, of all, is the gorgeous Electric Blue paint on the outside- most cars you see on the road today are either #1) white, #2) gray/silver or #3) white.....the colour electric blue definitely stands out in the worst of crowds.......Second, of all, I do love the automatic trunk opener- if you happen to be dtanding by the trunk without the use of your hands...within 4 seconds it will automatically unlock itself.
Well, my 2017 Elantra i bought new in May 2016, just turned 100.000 miles last week. Its been an excellent vehicle. 0 repairs, 0 issues! Literally only things not original to the car is tires and 2 batteries. Still runs like new, uses no oil between changes. Now I can dump all those oil change receipts as the warranty is now over. Lol.
I have this car.and it.struggles with 1400 ft.altitude. i asked technician about.this he said leave it in automatic. I.also asked about putting it in sport mode. I was told no.i have 6 speed automatic bought brand new
I bought mine new, live at 2900 feet, work is at 98 feet. Car has been flawless, now at 64.000 miles. No difference in how car runs at elevation, had it up to almost 7000 feet. No issue. Have you found out what is causing yours problems??
If you look closely you'll see you're actually viewing a "still shot edit" that is cut into the driving shots. The still shot illustrates items on the dash that are easier to video tape while the car is standing still. It is true the parking brake was on when we filmed that particular shot...but I can assure you it was off when I was actually driving the car. I've been driving for quite sometime and have been making these videos for six years or so...and know not to drive with the parking brake on. As a matter of fact, the vehicles won't let me drive with the parking brake on, so it turns out I'm actually not the "dumb ass" you described in your comment. Thanks for watching our video though and I hope you subscribe..:) Steve
+srk7555 sorry bout that I don't know one thing does handbrake stop the car from moving even when you accelarate bcos in my corolla 2007 with the handbrakes on it will move
