I don't think its fair to compare the "action" of f1 with these v8s. Considering the fragility, stakes, downforce, grip, ridiculous speeds, team effort, team budget what kind of "action" would you participate in as a f1 driver?
@@trs7656 I think it's perfectly fair. Since I compare viewer excitement from one motorsport to another. Lots of factors play into viewer excitement, and I simply find this motorsport more exciting to watch than F1, hence my comment. Don't really see how your answer is relevant to my statement at all.
treu, thye should make a world champship,,, ordianary car, they could be lightweith and have another wheels nothing more alowed. till 2.0 liyters and no turbos
This race basically shows what racing is all about. You don't need massive budget & absolute specific car characteristic to make a racing exciting. You just let the team choose their own idea of the best car for the class while the engineers & drivers do their things to the limit
Fantastic racing! That pass by the Civic on lap 6 was remarkable. Proof you can still get the some glory even if you don't come in 1st. You got a new fan of this class now
@@leviticuscheese321 More lift, and longer duration could help. Really need variable valve timing for a huge difference. That's a lot of money right there.
@@izzyplusplusplus1004 It is but with the benefits that come from it would somewhat be worth it PS: didn't expect a reply after a year I didn't realize how old the video was before I commented.
I love these European circuits; I-4’s, turbos, I-6’s, v8’s, rotary power... awesome mixture. It’s like our American NASA series; but I really prefer the European version 👍🏼💥
Wait, in Bathurst they said Cox was 2000cc car, now they are saying race leader (Cox) is under the 2000cc class. Many people want to know if it's a b16, b18, K20 etc but there doesn't seem to be much information
In the comments on another video someone said he was running a B20 with a Type R head. I guess he's in the under 2000cc class because the B20 is 1973cc.
No Grip it's called a Frankenstein motor. The bottom half (B20) is from a 2000 Honda CRV era and the top end is either a B18C7 (Integra Type R) or B16B (Civic Type R EK9) or a B16a (Civic VTi-R EK4 or EM1). I had the same setup in my daily driver with quad throttle bodies. Bloody awesome combination! The torque from the 2L bottom end with the revability of the other motors.
No Grip It's a pretty good guess. Especially looking at the quick glimpses inside the engine bay. The K series and B series are easily identifiable between each other.
Reichter Cool, and I mean it doesn't affect me either way. But I just think it's good in life to have facts going around not assumptions. and definitely you can tell right away, I've just never seen a shot of it unless newer images have came out since this
What pisses me off so much is its all about the Hondas dank overtakes with skill and shit. Meanwhile. Every fuckin overtake from the Toyota was because straight line.
