2017 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S PDK - One Take

I've driven 991.2 4S PDK Cabrio for a day and just from that experience I have to say it would be a perfect daily driver sports car.

The way it burbles and pops on almost every overrun is fantastic. Huge fan of the entire soundtrack.

Personally, not a Porsche fan, but this looks like a great drivers car. Porsche really keeps the faith with the 911. Love the vids Matt, keep em coming. You should replace Leblanc on Top Gear IMO.

The car seems pretty good. I never got to drive a Porsche but I imagine it's a bunch of fun and even passion that comes with it. And the sound is just awesome man! Well, good video like always :)

Before the video even started I wanted to comment that you should bring Zack or any of the other podcast guys with you when you get press cars like this, then the episode started and..... Pleasant surprise!

Definitely think this is the way to go for reviewing press cars or newer cars like this. Always nice to hear a second opinion or other people's comments. Zack is a great reviewer on his own too.

With Zach in the car, it adds a great commentary to the video. Really enhances the video, he should come along as many press car reviews as possible. Both of you guys have a similar viewpoint with cars, and you both have a good knowledge of the spectrum. Great video, keep it up.

Really enjoyed the video. Whats not to like..carving canyons in a Carrera 4S. I agree with other comments...you should do more "One Take" videos with Zack. You guys have some good back and forth banter.

The most shocking part of the video was the Prius driver who actually moved out of the way. I'm seriously shocked. I live in CA and Prius drivers are notorious for being the most oblivious people on the road. (notorious among people who don't drive a Prius, don't shop at whole foods and didn't vote for Bernie).

I had the same exact feelings about the 997 GTS I did a video on! I did not want to leave the car. I wanted to live in there, I wanted to keep on driving it until I ran out of road, and then build more road so I could continue driving it.

Can you please stop filming these films in USA and get somewhere where you can actually overtake people and drive it properly?

Cool car, but I think the new Corvette Z06 gives you more bang for the buck and, in my opinion looks much better than the Porsche.

I love the configuration and color choices. I like the exterior color, the interior color choice, the Carrera s wheels. I might go for the RS wheels if I ever buy this car.

Greetings from Stuttgart :D At work I drive around all kinds of Porsche Parts on a Pellet Truck (had to google that word lol) Differentials, bits and pieces from the Inside, Transmissions and even Windshields. I'd say every morning I got parts on the pellet truck and forklift worth around 1.25M$. So in a way I am actually driving Porsche haha

I love the spool up sound of the 991.2 engine's turbos.

Wow, one of the best vids you have done in the last years imo (I don't comment usually).

once you hear the new 991.2 in person with the turbos, the sound is incredible for the turbo motor and you won't think as much about the previous 991.1s. And i tend to be more of a NA kinda guy (except for the 90s jap sports cars)

It's amazing that this power is now equal to the old 996 Turbo. Does sound great for a turbo car. Less darth vader then most turbos, which is a good thing! Great hearing your 1st impressions on the new turbo engines and how much you enjoy driving them. Looking forward to seeing the drive review of the base model too. As much as I still love the naturally aspirated sound, there is no denying the advantages turbos give to the torque curve! Great job Matt!

At 0:59 it sounds like a proper diesel! I love it. Later it gets even better. Keeps the 'Porsche sound', even with turbos, while making TDI's shy at the red lights...

I've seen 911 Turbo on snowy I-684 NY bound commuting. That was really cool to see yeah you can daily it literally all year around in Northeast with 4WD sports car.

Drove my first 911 today and all I can say it the Baddest car out there!

Like how you have the camera on you and the passenger in the bottom corner and have the road ahead as the main view. So many videos have just the driver, I hope others take note.
