2018 Audi A5 Sportback Review! (Shockingly Good for $42,000!) 

Out of all cars on the market right now, this 4 door coupe is one of thr most beautiful ones...Elegance and renfindment that can't even be challenged by some cars twice or 3 times the price. Well done. Though the weels on this one are not the best you can get on this car.

Parker I really feel like you need to show more exterior/interior shots and just overall more shots of the car over you just talking 90% of the time

My uncle in Norway has the previous gen a5. Its a 3.2, diesel, manual, and AMAZING!

This isn’t Audi’s answer to the grand coupe. Audi‘s sportback was first but it was sold everywhere else but the USA.

The last generation sold extremely well in Europe. No doubt America will love them as much as we do. Will definitely get myself one at some point in the future.

One month left to wait on my S5 Sportback Daytona Grey/Red all options except adjustable suspension..we drove an S5 coupe yesterday..OMG so fun!!

Loved the B9 A4 I had, people thought I was biased when I owned it, saying it was better than the 3 series (which I also owned) as a drive's car.

Granted I'm relatively old school, but I hate that digital gauges are considered an upgrade from analog.

This isn't an answer to BMW 4 series Gran Coupe. The Audi A/S5 Sportback is what inspired the 4 series Grand Coupe. That's a misconception that Americans have because this is the first time is is being offered here in the USA.

Test drove the 2 door of this one and I loved it! I currently have an A4. Cabrio and considered this as an upgrade. Definitely a better car than the C-coupe.

How does it compares to the VW Arteon? A dress up VW with AWD? I currently own a 2013 VW CC, and I love the concept. Granted my VW only has a 2.0 Turbo with a DSG, pushing out 200 HP. Either this or the BMW 4 series or the VW Golf R.

Hey Parker, VAG put dual-clutch transmissions in all of their cars from Skoda (not sure if you have them in the US), VW, through Audi to Porsche and more. Cheers man!

Can I ask you (the reviewer) a question? Does the media display screen sticking up out of the dash (4:35) bother you? I have not taken a test drive, but it appears to me that the display screen appears to be quite obtrusive. Believe it or not, this could be the deal breaker for me.

Just test drove it and its a very nice car, but it drives sports-car firm, even in Comfort mode

This is the first vehicle from audi that actually looks nice from the exterior. Most audi vehicles look dated and too simple from their exterior. However the seats in this audi look cheap:/

You should try to make the transition of the music more suddle, or even have it in the background at low volume!

Putting a Dual-clutch transmission in a normal car is not exaclty something new, VW have been doing it for years. In cheap cars like the VW polo and Audi A1.

Parker, in Europe a lot of normal family sedans and estates with far less hp, even 1.0 liter 3 cylinder engines with a mere 105 hp, have the dual clutch transmission. Like the automatic transmission always was the custom in the States, so was the manual transmission in Europe. But not anymore, a very large part of the cars here are sold with a dual clutch, because it is smooth and quick in operation. It really beats the manual, also because it can be operated like a manual transmission. Hell, it even is a manual transmission with two clutches as the name already reveals. Also, more then 80% of the cars here have no more then 200 hp, so 252 is really a lot. I have a 230 hp family estate and it is far faster then the majority of the cars on the road here.

Which one more better audi a5 or bmw 4series?

How is 5.7 seconds not that fast? I know people focus on who is quickest but in something like Seattle traffic or traffic period. You don't really need anything faster then 0-60 in 7 seconds. Even on the highway something like a beetle turbo does just fine and only goes 0-60 in 6.7. Speed isn't everything. Corning, interior finish etc are more important imo
