This is my first review. I had this Q7 in my possession for a short time and my overall impression is that it falls short on interior space when compared to the Land Rover Discovery or Mercedes GLS. I think its a comfortable middle ground between those SUVs and the BMW X5. However, it excels in technology and does offer slightly better fuel mileage

I just got my first 2018 Audi Q7. However I have a question regarding the DTE. Does it go down by 5s or ones?? Cause mine keeps going down by 5s and I’m not sure if that’s normal.

Yeah I've been on the line between a 2013-2015 1st Gen and a 2017 2nd Gen, seems like the first gen is a better value being the 2017 2 Gen with options is plus or minus 50k And a 2015 with options is 25-33k. I figure in another 3 years The 2017-2019 will be in my budget. What's your thoughts? Is the first gen good enough? Or is it blown out of the water by the 2nd Gen. I test drove both Thanks for the review!

In my opinion the tech in the second gen absolutely blows the 1st gen away. Not to say the 1st gen is bad but it’s rare to find a S Line Prestige with adaptive cruise control and air suspension. On the second gen it’s more mainstream, so easier to find the technology in the used market. Plus with the 2nd generation the adaptive cruise control has a more stop go feature plus auto steering below 35 mph. The towing capacity is increased to 7700 lbs instead of 6600. Its lighter so it achieves better fuel mileage and acceleration. Looks wise I may give it to the 1st gen if it has the 21” wheels and black optic package.

@@M5_Sonu I recommend getting a vehicle history report such as carfax a pre purchase inspection from a mechanic who can use VAGCOM to scan the car.

@@eddiemcars Already got the carfax.. its all clean except one small recall that shouldn't take more than an hr at the dealer. Buying it from Carfax ( surprisingly found it a decent price compared to many many others... unless you can recommend someone better... paying $39K with 42K miles... one owner, no accidents, was a leased vehicle ) Since I have 30 day ( or 1500 miles ) to return it for a full refund, I'll def. have it looked in by an Indy car shop who possess a VAGCOM scanner... Thanks for that!!! Really appreciated :)
