A lot of people say the new Accord is the ugliest yet, and to each it's own, but I find it very beautiful. I have the 2018 1.5t. Traded my 2006 Accord last year in January. Very responsive, spacious, love driving it. Extremely satisfied. Haven't had any issues.
Fast forward to 2024, the 10th gen 2.0 is by unanimous the best accord ever made. The early naysayers now join us to become the biggest 10th gen fans ever
We are at the point where Honda is just so good that I have to ask, why would you buy an Acura? I have an Acura, but mine is old and when they were making good cars, now all Acura’s are just jazzed up Honda’s and to be honest, now the new Accord is just as good as the TLX for a lot less money.
Sean Pittacora Yeah the new Honda’s have just as many luxuries. Same with Toyota. If you want real luxury, I’d buy an Audi or Benz over an Acura/Lexus for the same price. If not, new Honda’s/Toyota’s are pretty nicely spec’d
Bros FOURR Speed Honestly. Growing up my dad had an 01 TL then an 06 TL. Those cars were the height of the Acura brand in my opinion. I have an RSX-S which was another fun Acura for the time. My dad has now moved on to the Lexus brand and leased a GS F-Sport and now just bought a CPO ES350. CPO Lexus is the best way to go now. The value is great and they come with full warranties and are half the price sometimes compared to a new Lexus.
Great video guys!!!! I love the 2019 Honda accord it's very sexy and fast! I love the turbo engine! My mom has a 2011 Honda Pilot! Y'all should do a review on the 2019 Nissan Altima. Do y'all like hocking loogies? It's a guy thing. I can't wait for y'all next video.
i live in canada and the car has 4 usb ports 2 front and 2 rear heated steering wheel, wipers and in the storage in front of the shifter buttons wireless charging and nfc on the dash but the car doesn't have power folding mirrors
Power folding mirrors?? Can anyone tell me is that is right? I own one I let me tell ya that I haven been able to put that feature to work so far.... Thanks.
Exactly. He gave the wrong "expected" MPG for this model. That is for the base 1.5 (vgr) model. The 2.0 Touring is 23/34 (27 combined...still not horrid)
@5:17 "You have your dual zone climate controls in the center..." That center knob is not part of the "dual zone climate controls" That center knob is the fan speed. The knobs to the left and right of the center knob are for driver and passenger temperature choices. @5:32 "You just push down on D for drive..." No, you do not just push down on D for drive. First, you must have your foot pressing on the brake pedal, and while your foot is pressing on the brake pedal, that is when you press D, or N, etc. And a few seconds later, he states that you just push P to put it into park. Wrong. Same as above. @5:50 "...for wide view and narrow view..." referring to the rearview camera. Wrong. The views are: -- Wide view. -- Very wide view. -- Close up view. There is no "narrow" view. @8:06 Regarding the steering wheel: Notice the noise that his skin makes while sliding his hand on the steering wheel. This is not the fault of the driver. It is the type of leather that Honda decided to use. You learn to ignore the shh sounds. But Honda should have used a material that you do not have to tune out. @9:20 "It's not meant for back roads" Yes, it is meant for back roads. It will not handle as good as a LaFerrari. But the Sport and the Touring models will take turns faster than most people will ever try, and the car will stay planted. Those 19" wheels and low profile tires are not there only for looks. They give the car a lateral grip that is very, very good. @9:37 Accelerating: The camera should be on the road; not on your face. @10:04 "It's not a straight line performance car" Yes, it is a straight line performance car. As sedans go, it is a very good performer. It is not a Ferrari. But it is quicker than it looks. There are several other performance and safety features not covered in this review. Also, know that the stereo is so-so. It is nothing special. You can enjoy it, but it is not up to the level of the rest of the car. The Toyota Camry and Nissan Altima stereos are of similar sound quality. It seems as though the three companies had a meeting and all decided to cut corners on the sound quality of their stereos. Even for the cars that offer premium stereos, the "premium" basically translates into "louder". But like watching an out-of-focus video, playing it on a larger screen does not make it look any better. Cheers!
