you know your a great guy but i guess you might think that people are stupid to think you can remove damage with a pressure washer or a leaf blower so i guess i won''t be subscribing to your channel good luck with that
Let me remake the video for what you would like to see. LMAO yeah right! You have no power here, I do what I want. If you are part of the population that does not understand what a joke is, this channel is no place for you.
Its a joke, FFS lighten up. Haven,t you heard the joke about a crashed or burnt car (If will buff out) you must be fun at parties. Vehcor loving the channel all the best, watching from New Zealand.
vehcor did u use dealership license cause auctions try to fuck u over for extra without it I’m thinking of getting a m5 or m2 once I get my efs done if not a e36 Bro how much this even run u I’ve never went to auctions before
@@vehcor LOL no wonder his name is sorrows lol. Seriously I hope the door hit him in the ass on his way out because I wouldn't want him to know what he's missing.
Thanks, it is pretty nice driving it off the trailer so far. Maybe they have glue on frame machine attachments, the dent puller doesn't have the power. lol
LOL. It's funny how after you say driving "the mistake" you couldn't go back to driving your daily driver. You had to upgrade, well nice upgrade!! That mud was caked on the inner wheel liners DANG. Can't wait to see this build after your done with it!! Keep up the good work!!
The mistake was so quiet and comfortable compared to my old truck that I was perfectly happy with prior to driving the mistake. lol Those construction guys really make a mess for me. Thanks for the support.
Yes, am not totally sane. lol Glad the videos are entertaining as well as helpful. If this deal turns out as good, I will be happy to call it Mistake 2.0 but for now it is the Dirtnali.
My seat is in the fully upright position and tray table up and locked, I'm ready for this ride! Great opening video, was EXTREMELY disappointed the dent failed to buff out though.
I think you might be right. I have to be serious, when I am not I get all the comments from people that think I truly do not know the real purpose of the wheel liners and such. Thanks for the compliment, I think. lol
Another Great video from the man who works miracles and uses lots of hard work. Please come to England and sort out or broken government. Thanks Kenny.
Thanks, I better just stick to the cars and videos. We are still trying to fix our broken government. lol Nobody wants me to fix government. I am whatever the complete opposite of PC is.
Your gonna love that L5Ps power. They run like a tuned LML. Until you said it had a clear title I was gonna say I was very surprised they totalled that truck. They have a huge book.
I have heard that about the L5P. It most likely was not fixed because it was a company truck and they cannot afford to be without it for hours, let alone day or weeks. According the the numbers it is not even close to a total loss. Go with the 06-07 (classic body style for 07) Duramax. I have nothing but love for my LBZ. I wish it was a crew instead of an extended cab.
dude your actually hilarious. i didnt know you had a sense of humor!! im just kidding, i really look forward to your videos. you dont buy the average junk vehicle and fix them, you get great vehicles and do phenominal work. im glad i found this channel. great stuff
Glad you like the shenanigans. I think some people might call my Toyotas and Pontiacs the average junk. lol I do try to turn every one of them into a great vehicle for the new owner. To me a great vehicle is something reliable and safe at a good price. Glad to have you here. Thanks for the support.
@ 7 . 24 or so here....... 2 THE END OF THE VIDEO HERE....... REALLY LOVE THE SINCE OF HONEST HUMOR HERE......... WE LAUGHED SOOOOOOO HARD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS VERY VERY MUCH NEED'D THE LAUGH HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! KEEP ROCK ' N THERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He just hasn't shown us the mistake out of this one. I'm gonna share a RU-vid video and I think that'll be your ultimate challenge, find the truck and restore it. Even needs a new extra fuel tank in bed of pickup. (He bent the frame as well). Maybe you could do a response video cutting the video and show what you could or couldn't Do with the pickup. I bet you probably saw it on's auction site and probably thought about it but passed... 🤔🤔🤔🤔 Here you go, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XLKQ-RDttuk.html Enjoy the watch. No rebuild option for that I'd say once he buckled it mid frame and then was walking around the accident scene. Figured he would've been in the hospital the way the pickup looked. Probably ass ended a semi looking at phone while going up a hill because how else could that happen?
ger traba I am thinking the Dirtnali since I will be finding dirt throughout this build. It will be a miracle if my camera survives! Shoutout to Canon, it has been taking it like a champ! Lol
Awesome ending, haha loved it. See this is what differentiates your builds from everybody else, that antenna hole, most would just use sheet metal and filler but you going to do it right. A little more work but a job to be proud of. Great tip of the seats most people would never think of the safety deployment and just sew it back closed when they see the price of replacing the seat.
Glad you like the end, it was fun to make. I ended up finding a used seat for the same price as a used bag and new cover. So I save labor for the same price and I can sell the power seat track and lower cover that wears out from use.
Just put a cutting wheel on the buffer and turn it sideways. Wow! That's a heck of an upgrade! I had to upgrade from my 2wd Silverado with the 4.8. Towing heaver cars it just wasn't cutting the mustard. Great truck but i need a 2500.Unfortunately a Denali is above my pay grade. Looks like an awesome truck. I'm excited to see this one as good as new.
I just got back from Georgia and pulling a truck and trailer through the mountains would have been hell on even a 6.0. This truck is probably too nice for me. lol Thanks for the support.
3:17 I was waiting for it. Good editing to build the suspense. I knew the passenger side had to be caved in, it wasn't as bad as I imagined though. The weed eater was particularly funny to me for some reason... LOL
Wow you got on the wash it first bandwagon. Now you just need to wash it 3 or 4 times while you’re rebuilding it. And good for you calling out the ones that like to sew their seats. I’m sure it’s not the local craft store thread your mom uses to put patches on your jeans with. I’d actually feel ok buying a rebuilt car from you. Great job and I love the videos!
1000+ rebuilds and I think this is the first one I have washed beforehand. lol I asked ICAR instructors and some engineers from the manufacturers about the seat covers when the first ones were being deployed and they all had the same answers and it makes sense. Sure it costs more but the right way is not usually the cheap way. It might look right but it might not perform right. There is only one way to find out and I wouldn't want to be the test subject/victim. Thanks for the support!
Sorry to disappoint but there will be no sunroof for this one. I will live without it. If I had a reason to replace the roof skin, it would have had one for sure. Maybe the next one.
All of them have been diesels, it is all I buy for towing. This one is a different engine, supposedly one of the best. We will see. I was pretty happy with the mistake as far as power and economy.
@@muskokamike127 dude you must not know about current diesels that engine has just about 500 horse power stock and nearly 1,000 ft pounds of torque they are pretty dang fast now
Looks like an Arkansas farm truck to be sure. My uncles were farmers and their trucks never got washed. As for the radio, I’m a little surprised they still use them but again those factory farms needed communications between vehicles. If you were combining, you’d need to be able to call the grain truck to empty your hopper. Same if you were just out in the field and needed to call back to the house or the shop for a part or for help. You can’t just do these things on your own. The fellow that owned this truck probably had thousands of acres he was farming all over a few counties. That’s the kind of guy that currently farms our family’s place.
It belong to a construction company so they were driving where the roads were being built before they built them. lol They probably used the radio to talk to other workers on the job site that can span for miles.
Good afternoon Scott, we have a new product called healing salve. It comes in 1 gallon cans. That is a 5 gallon repair for sure. Replacing parts, who ever heard of such a thing. Here in corn pone county, the agricultural body shops and rebuilders would never consider new metal, and those air bags and side curtains, who needs them. The old trucks never had them and we got along just fine. At least this poor thing landed on the right hospital table and will get a new lease on life the proper way. Can't wait for more Friday videos on this project. Have a good weekend and take care.
I was never a fan of air bags until the side ones. They actually do serve a purpose. Of course they also cause the most damage and are harder to replace but at least they have a use. The front bags are just a big money maker for the manufacturers. I was tempted to drive this one home from the auction. If It was not such a pain to get the "mistake" on the trailer. I might have. Have a good week.
Great find! That is going to be one righteous ride when you’re done. I understand what you mean about people, a 70k truck and a drill. I imagine the last owner has already inaugurated their new truck.
@@vehcor how about a torch and some cold water? Heard that shrinks the metal and makes the sheetmetalgo back to shape...........................LIGGHT ER UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@duenpuen6862 LOL. The funny thing about Larry the cable guy is it`s all fake. All fake except the piles of money that is. Not much fake about this dude. Don`t see much WD 40 or Duct tape!
Great video again very funny i had a feeling that the seat covers really needed replacing when the air bags blow not just re stitching up. Thanks for comfirming my suspensions
Glad you enjoyed it. I have asked the experts and they have given me the reasons for replacement. I trust the guys in the lab coats, they know more than me. lol
Really should have used the MIRACLE DENT PULLER made by RONCO and sold at WAL MART............. quality stuFFFFFFF www.walmart.com/ip/Auto-Body-Paintless-Dent-Repair-Tool-Car-Dent-Puller-Dent-Lifter-Glue-Puller-Tabs-Car-Dent-Removal-Door-Dings-Hail-Damage-Repair-Larger-Small-Dent-Re/766913738?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=18219&adid=22222222227265796353&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=315753734773&wl4=pla-579653212279&wl5=9004007&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=125216035&wl11=online&wl12=766913738&wl13=&veh=sem&gclid=CjwKCAjwwZrmBRA7EiwA4iMzBI3GpJPJLp7qoAtbNtKApiGlbe5qFrrNNqsYIleY6bXwKovKZcQG_RoCR4MQAvD_BwE
They never seem to come totally clean when you hit them with the hose, dirt always washes out. They do not show the dirt like the plastic ones though. I guess they have their pros and cons.
It should not be done on a Kia, let alone a Lambo. I'm not trying to call anyone out. People sent me lots of emails about it so I had to see about it. I get it, the parts are expensive but the right way is usually not the cheap way.
@@gertraba4484 Did they really say that? lol I don't watch many videos but I do watch a few of theirs. They are entertaining and I give the kids a lot of credit.
@@vehcor Not to be MR DOOM or Gloom, what is the liability of you or any other shop that fixes vehicles after airbag deploys, are they noted in sale and are they inspected by dealers/DMV for operation? Seems rather reckless for a shop to just replace the part and then if it has an accidental deploy or failed one that opens up a BIG can of worms ................any input on this matter?????
@@vehcor yup, they alluded to the fact they called their grammy and they went to local arts and crafts store to buy threads and needles......... I have all the approvals for these guyz but to cobble this seat cover together opens them up to insane liability with lawyers and the law..........
vehcor Just think of all that profit your going to make! I would buy a clean title rebuilt car or truck from someone of your quality standards in a heart beat. Wish other shops dead your standards.
It will all buff out.............LOL! This is a really nice truck! Compared to the black one this one will be really easy for you! Already looking forward to seeing the repair! It will be really interesting for me!
not jealously its common sense safety.............big difference in slapping a fender on a 1973Vega and sendingit out the door than fixing a 100k super car and using parts that are questionable
ger traba whether a seat has or doesn’t have an airbag isn’t going to cost you your life. It’s their car, they can do what they want. I stand by my opinion that he sounds like a jealous little whiner. Make better videos and he won’t have to worry about what others are doing.
@@jonsmith6496 I don't care what others are doing. If people ask me questions I answer them. When I get a large number of the same question, I put it in a video. It is sad when people don't do things the right way and others that don't know any better follow their lead, thinking they know best. These cars are not always mine but they all get repaired correctly because it may in fact cost someone their life or at least injure them. And for what, a few hundred/thousand dollars? That says a lot about the value people place on others' safety. I'm not whining, I mentioned no names and it was not directed at anyone. This video was also filmed 4 weeks ago. I have done over 1000 rebuilds many of which are more complex than any shop have ever attempted and all with complete confidence that they will perform in the next accident as they did in the first. I continue training on new technology to learn proper repairs. I don't just do it like they always did it because things change and that may not work. I know you don't care about any of this, you just want a reason to be pissed. Have at it, I could not care less.
I like this one better. GMC just suits me better. I liked the Mistake but this new engine should make me like this one much more. I got paid for the work and it is only business at the end of the day. I will build as many of these as I can sell, they are so much fun to work on.
CB oh yes I had a few. Cruising around in my 70 chevy truck up there in Lake county Fox Lake/ Round Lake Beach area mainly. I even had the base station before I was legally driving, channel 21 was my go to back in the 80's. oh the memories
I wasn't either. I would love to build nothing but these trucks but I don't know how well I can sell them. Trucks have never been quick sellers for me.
Never knew that about the seat stitching. Thanks for putting these videos out. Just found your channel. Keep up the good content and education. I am getting excited about pulling the trigger on an auction rebuild
This was an awesome video as it reminded me of the immortal Jeff Spicoli. " I can fix it"...." You can't fix this car Spicoli"... My dad's a tv repairman with an awesome set if tools. I can fix it.... I cant wait to see how this one turns out!!!!
