Me too! 18 WRX for a 19 STI! Skip the wrx goto the sti. So many peeps try to justify their purchase of a WRX when deep down we all know the superior car.

+motion sickness oh yea I remember how the WRX felt when I drove it. The best way that I can explain how the STI felt was that it was definitely more..... complete than the WRX if that makes sense!

I mean its a 40hp difference with the price difference I don't think its worth it but ofc if I had the money for the sti I would of got it instead but would of been like 700$ payments lmao got my wrx to 300whp right now and its fun as fuck

@@meninism69 I did end up getting a 2021 STI back in march of 2021 and I just fell in love with it, I did a stage 1+ OTS tune using COBB AP, installed a COBB Cold Air Intake and Remark Axel Back and the sound it made was just amazing. Since the family grew I ended up selling it and getting a SUV but there's not a day that goes by that I don't miss that car.

were you able to get a good pricing for the sti limited?im currently shopping around and only able to get out the door pricing at about 44k

@@mr86drift I went through Costco auto buying program. You get invoice price without any haggling. Not too many limited with lip spoiler around so had to wait about 4 weeks for it to show up since I wanted ice silver. If you belong to Costco you might check it out. I live in Huntington Beach and had to go to dealer in Hawthorne but everyone there treated me great.

@@doctorrobert60 ive tried costco auto,they couldnt get me the dark grey metallic that i wanted and theres hardly any sti limited 2019 around here now smh :\ i did get mines for 45 out the door though but im not sure if thats a good price for a sti limited...

+Robert Arutunian actually surprisingly this Exhaust System wasn’t that loud or raspy! It was more on the mildly louder and smooth sounding exhaust! Trust me I was shocked myself!

@@mr86drift I think it depends if the dealer works with you. They put my name on incoming car that was 4 weeks out. I used Costco when i bought my 2012 STI and Costco used different dealer. I ordered mine from factory how I wanted it and was invoice even options. Invoice may not be the cheapest but no stressful haggling. I think you did OK considering was 45K out the door which is probably invoice+tax and license.

It runs RICH when the bov vents because the car thinks there is air being vented back into the system when it's not so u have a rich condition for a second

I theory, the adaptive LED's are enough. But people like the fog lights, so they should have kept them

Honestly no I wouldn't, my GTI in my opinion is a much all around better vehicle for me. But i wouldn't mind owning one in the future for the channel!

I have a mk7.5 gti and feel the same way

He has a proton from a local shop here in Long Island, NY called Vinny Ten Racing! He has no issues with the vehicle throwing itself into limp mode!

I believe that if you go in your settings in your gage cluster, you should be able to find a feature with that!

It's not a speed limiter it's a shift indicator that you can set to different RPMs. If anyone buys an STI brand new, I recommend setting it at 4000 RPM to give you a warning not to go over that until the break in period is over. After that set it to what you want.

They need to make a new engine first. I heard that they will put a FA20 in it in 2020. Maybe few more years later, a DCT will come too.

+EGC_Warlock I’m not too sure but I recommend that you check out subispeed.com and they usually have a ton of front lips for this vehicle as well as the WRX!

It's a CS style front lip.

Honestly I you have a 410 whp WRX, then I'm sure that you have a lot of money invested in it. Most of the engine components I believe will not transfer over to the STI and also the amount of depreciation and negative equity that you will experience will not work in your favor. In my opinion, I believe that keeping your WRX would be the better choice from a financial standpoint

WRX base has an automatic option. I heard the STI's only come with a standard transmission.
