In today’s video, we races two of the fastest American cars ever produced. The 2020 Mustang GT500 & the Corvette C7 Z06. Both are very powerful cars but the Z06 has the weight advantage. The Z06 is 3500lbs and comes with 650hp from the factory, this particular one has a X-Pipe & intake. The GT500 is fairly stock except for a JLT intake. Both cars preformed really well and it was great capturing the comparison between the two for you guys.

Pretty sure the C7 Z06 has a 1.74 liter blower. And stop saying the GT500 is 3900lbs.. it is not. It is 4150 depending on trim. It is not a sub 4k car.

Mustangs are still considered "muscle cars" and the almighty Corvette is a "sports car," so to me that is IMPRESSIVE! If it would've been a Hellcat or ZL1 with bolt-ons beating a C7Z, I'd say the same thing.

Im going to be honest, the C7 seems like it needs a driver mod, no cap... Not saying it would make the vette win, but the vette definitely could've done better... Also where the hell do you get "2.3L blower" from for the vette? The LT4 engine (no matter whether in a ZL1 or a ZO6) has a 1.7L blower... The LT5 has a 2.6L blower, he probably doesn't even know that lol! Also, a typical GT500 aren't around 3900 pounds, more like 4100 pounds-ish and upwards...

@@mariossr gt500 is a great car for what is in most ways. but what I want to see is a LT5 ZL1. That would be the new bench mark easily! Makes reasonable sense though. But seriously, Can you imagine what a 3900 pound LT5 Camaro putting out 755hp and 715 pft, pared with the 10 speed auto would be like?!? That would be nuts!

Thats the stock intake on the z06 and with just an X pipe it wouldn't even make it 560 rwhp on an automatic z06 and the driver clearly doesn't know how to drive it, PS: the blower is a 1.7L unit I don't know if the corvette would win either way, but definitely needs a driver mod 😄
