Speaking of toast. Not much has changed with toast over time yet you keep going back to it. Why? Cause it gets it done. Stop whining or just stop eating toast. Get it?
You’re paying 50,000 for what’s under the hood and the name. Which is fine by me. Power lift gate is cool but not really necessary or something that I even look for when I’m the market for a new vehicle. Only time I could see that being necessary is when doing groceries but even then I personally don’t place my groceries in the trunk.
Great review! We just picked up my wife’s TRD Pro yesterday. She loses some of the features of the LTD, but at least has an upgraded infotainment system and much more capable off road. And the Army Green is bas ass 😃
This Guy is looking for power lift gate on a 4runner. Definitely doesn't understand what the 4runner is all about and why the 4runners still sell so well..
I hated the power gate on my previous highlander. traded it in for the 4Runner and love the manual gate. It’s so much faster and easier. I just love all the simple old school features on the 4Runner.
May finally sell my original owner '94 Isuzu Trooper 3.2 DOHC LS for this TRD Pro as Toyota has finally perfected what I have been enjoying for 26 years. Price new was $32, 660 (has every available option for the model year) so $51K makes sense.
Disclaimer my wife and I own an Audi SQ5 as well as a 4Runner TRD Pro so I am not bashing german autos. You are concerned with no power lift gate at 52k but how many german crossovers are 70k plus and yet cant do anything off road? I will take the lack of power on the lift gate and dated exterior. If I want luxury I will trade it in for the GX.
Is this a good deal my friend got when he purchased the 2020 4Runner, he tells me that it’s the second best model of the 4Runner . Nothing down, 46k and $740 per month. Don’t know about his interest rate or how many years he’s planning to pay. Give me your opinion, did he made the right chose or did he got rip off by Toyota
Thats mostly for every automaker doing this. because its being phased out now. My 2017 4runner has a CD player and bluetooth. Newer ones are moving ahead with Apple CarPlay now.
So did they ever add another way to open the back except for the obvious license plate button? I have a 4runner and when my button stopped working I was told how much it was going to cost to replace it and about passed out. So now I put up with unable to open the hatch now. Everything goes through the window.
At least we have the window to get in. Think of how much a Power lift gate on vehicles costs today? Im sure way more than the button thats not working. Just another way top look at it. speaking from experience, its way more to replace a power lift gate. /
I have an ‘07 V8 Limited that I absolutely love. The 4.7L is a sweet engine and makes the 4Runner the vehicle it was designed to be. Now if If I would have been the first owner I would have Woolwaxed the undercarriage. My only concern with 172k miles and living in Ohio is the infamous frame rot Toyota trucks are known for.
JiTengful hey it maybe old skool major outdated 5 speed AT. But it still solid well made trans. It’s a freakin dinosaur model. 5 speed any day on 4Runner
Do some research on Tacoma six speeds transmission also on the Rav4 reviews. My wife has a 2017 RAV4 and I don't like they way it shift, feels sluggish.
