Yes u can do it without removing the bumper I removed that bumper before but it was to replace the bumper reflectors with some lights

This taillights are plug and play. U will have to remove the inner liner on the trunk but other then that u should be fine 👍👍

I was hoping it can be done without removing the bumper because the lights have these wedges that look like slide into a bracket that’s behind the bumper. Most people pull the bumper off and they unbolt those brackets to swap them out to new light. One more quick question do you pull the light straight back or off to the side at an angle?

@@robbann8160 pull it straight back. If u do it at a angle u can break a little clip on the side by the quarter panel. Just be patient cus sometimes they are a little hard to pull out.

To be honest I don't know This was a installation on a customer car. I haven't seen him in a long time so really don't know if he have any problems at all

If I had to guess the did have problems with the way it was wired I’m sure it failed 6 months in. They have plug and play kits that u should use. Never cut and splice the wires on your lights. Too much moisture and those splices will fail. So I’m sure it failed relatively soon after it left the shop

@@rocblock1782 well, I bought it from eBay, spliced it, but I used an eletrical tape to close to protect the wire, I have those lights since march, and I haven’t have any problems since then, the lights works perfect, I live in mass so we also have a lot of cold and heat in the summer, I used the lights in both of those seasons, and still works perfectly fine! Love the way it looks at night by the way

@@victorcrowell1988 I sand it with 220 grit and use adhesion promoter (Bulldog brand) and put primer. Then when the primer is fully dry sand it with 400 drit. And paint it

@@victorcrowell1988 u can paint plastic. Just needed to sand it really good and before painting used adhesion promoter for plastic
