Here I will show you how to setup and connect the Waze in your car and what you can do with it! There is several benefits versus Google Maps and Apple Maps. Your car screen works way faster than mine. I have an LG V20 via a USB cable in a 2021 Ford Escape and it's very frustrating to try and use any apps. Takes forever to get the mobile apps to show, then its slow. Fine to play audio via bluetooth though. Maybe the old phone!

Honda CR-V 2021. I have waze app downloaded, yet, I’ve no voice directions coming though car speakers. If I unplug Apple play, then the voice direction can be heard through phone speaker but now I’ve no map on my screen.

I don't have the tutorial/manual to add apps. I have Hyundai i20 Sports Plus Variant. I don't think that it has Android Auto feature. Also am able to connect to maps via web link application. However voice assistance is not coming in it. Pls help me with that. If this works my issue get resolved.

yes you can use the waze app directly on your phone. If you go to the android auto website you can find a list of cars that compatible with Android Auto

waze and android auto is great .. but if you drive alot 400 miles a day or more .. a satellite navigation gps is the way to go like Garmin DriveSmart 65 is the best for navigation as you don't need to rely on cell coverage for navigation.. but I do combine both waze for traffic as the garmin traffic sux

you car most likely is not set up to automatically begin android auto when you plug the phone in. You have to change that in the settings

I've used and loved WAZE for years. I have an issue. New Subaru and using Android Auto thru a Samsung G7 Active. If I play audio thru the car and use waze, the volume of my radio doesn't work and the WAZE instructions are SUPER-load (painful). Can't find a way to change the volume. Thoughts?

When I run Waze through my Android Auto from my Samsung Note 8 phone, the screen on my phone shuts off after 30 seconds due to inactivity on my phone. When the screen shuts off, Waze GPS does not update. As soon as I turn my screen back on, Waze will update to the current location. My phone does not have the option of keeping my screen turned on for more than 10 minutes of inactivity. Do you know of any way around this or am I doing something wrong?

Great vid dude. One question. When using Waze on the phone, I can tap the bar up top and it will give me a list of turn by turns, I can also choose "reports ahead". A very handy feature without having to move the map around to look for issues on my route. I can't find this on the Apple Car Play version. Is this not available or am I missing something?

Hi, I have JVC Stereo KW-M540BT. I am facing an issue related to WAZE APP, Once connected to the stereo via WebLink and launch a Waze app on my stereo it did not detect the WAZE app installed on my phone. I tried a couple of times but do not get success. Please look into it and help me with the settings which need to be configured in my phone or Stereo. Waiting for an early reply in this regard from your side. I tried doing it from Android as well as from Ipone too but the same issue exists. Please help

(Theres a USB in the center console)- That includes the key option from a device as well from the Toyota app. So I cant unlock my car even If i needed to since i dont own apple if I left my key on accident in there or something. So for now, I have to figure it out. Idk if music even plays through the reg bluetooth because some cars dont have the entire option. Just for navigation purposes. I'll have to play with it & I'll update you in 2 weeks.

You might have to unplug and replug the usb to update the Android Auto apps. Each time you install new apps, the Android Auto has to update to reflect new apps.

As soon as I plug my phone in, nothing comes up! I'm connected via Bluetooth. I'm even connected via cord. I switch off the Bluetooth and left the cord in, nothing. Unplugged and turned on Bluetooth, nothing. I downloaded all those apps you mentioned, nothing. I have both android and iPhone with updated software and they are compatible with my 2016 Chevy Trax, nothing! What is going on? I'm scared to do a vehicle factory reset!

Again, none of these videos show how to navigate from screen to screen. I had Waze a few years ago and found it extremely confusing to find the info I was looking for, especially when driving.
