I had to replace the stock belt on my 2019 polaris xp 1000 4 seat due to rough pulling and jerking when driving at slow speeds. I had watched several of their videos and read the good reviews, so I decided to try a Hunterworks belt and washer kit, and what a difference it made. My polaris did not shift or pull this smooth when it was new, and I only have 200 miles on it now. The Hunterworks belt and new replacement washer took all the jerk and jumping out of my machine. I sure don't regret my purchase and would certainly recommend their products. Great videos to go along with install of their products. They even answer the phone when you call and that don't happen much anymore. Thanks from KY.
@@Hunterworks I had emailed about where the washer went. This was all new to me. Once I figured out where it went from your videos, I got it installed. It made a huge difference in the operation of my RZR. It doesn't jerk at all now at slow speeds. AMAZING
just added mine this weekend also used the hunterworks alignment tools and added the round rollers thanks again for the great product next is the hunterworks belt
For what it is worth, I bought the clutch tool and washer for my 18 Turbo RZR. The tools are very simple and elegant. Total time to install the washer start to finish with primary R&R was 30 minutes for this first time n00b. Thank you Hunterworks.
OK I bought one of the hunterWorks white washer for my xp1k then removed my blue washer. I do have a rev1 clutch kit already installed. I added in the washer and installed a brand new Evo bad ass belt and it broke in a quarter mile running at 30 mph? Any thoughts on this???????
I need help I put the thick belt and washer in my 17 xp 1000 last June just pulled the cover off to blow out dust maybe 40mils white washer is sliding in and out on shaft inside spring??????????????????
Have you made your products available in Canada yet , I just purchased a new XP 900 and would really like to try your belt , I find the XP 900 a little jerky on engagement.
Does it matter which way the washer faces. I bought a thick belt and the washer that came with it has a white side and a clear/translucent side with a beveled edge.
I have a question I have a 2021 RZR 900s and it has a jerky start in forward and reverse what do I need? I have been going through your videos and if I’m understanding correct I should change to round pucks ,belt, white washer and that should take care of my issues correct? Oh and your compression tool also. Also will this give my machine a faster engagement when I touch the gas peddle? I hate the delay in the gas pedal.
@@Hunterworks thank you for getting back to me ,I really enjoyed all your videos. When I can get through to you all on the phone I will be ordering a belt , rollers and the tool to to make it easier. I say on the phone because I don’t want to make a mistake and order something wrong , this way when it shows up I know I’m good to go.
@@howardmiller4241 Just order on the side and email me right after and I’ll make sure it’s right it’s extremely hard to get through on the phone in our phones are off today we’re gonna turn them back on tomorrow but they never stop ringing
I just bought your thick quiet belt and I'm trying to install thick washer but can't get the primary cover off. I took out the 21 mm bolt no issues then the 6 - 3/8 bolts but the cover seams to be stuck .... I even tapped lightly on it with a brass hammer?? What's the best way to get the primary plate loose?
@@Hunterworks I did read the email, this is a 2018 never had any work done to the clutch and as far as I can see no burrs or flaws in workmanship ... that I see?
STeve, the video is for folks who know or bought one and I don't mean that ugly. Here is a link to the washer video by itself on our site but we have about 4 videos with the three washers we sell in it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-57XRhzJNtzk.html
I'm getting ready to install the standard washer and belt tomorrow once it's delivered. I'm having the same issue with getting the clutch cover off. Any suggestions?
@@Hunterworks I have it jacked up and I took the shock off to get to the bolts out of the clutch cover. So should I let it back down the try to take the cover off?
One more question todd and I will leave you alone I assume it's ok to use this with the OEM belt incase there is need to swap belts on the trail? I will have my polaris belt for a spare again sorry for being dumb and not watching the right video I have learned alot from you with your videos thanks todd
@@Hunterworks Perfect, I’ve ordered new ones, Maybe you know why my secondary clutch won’t separate the sheaves? It started after I took it apart for cleaning. It Will separate a tiny bit but as soon as I release the tool it closes again.. First I thought it was the helix but its no difference if I remove it. Or maybe the ”sprider” is missaligned, but the thing is I can’t find the ”missing tooth” on the shaft, and it will fit the splines no matter how I rotate the spider. The utv Is a 2011 rzr xp 900.
