I’m glad to see that you’re a big guy and still said the seats are comfortable. I just ordered an M5 Comp and have been worried about the seats being uncomfortable for a big guy. We definitely need more thicc car reviewers!
LOL! Thanks for watching and your comment! It literally made me laugh out loud and I blame all this Texas BBQ! The seats were very comfortable but you can definitely hug you if you want. Make sure your neighbors love you cause that remote start will wake the neighborhood lol! What color did you go with? Someone in my Facebook car group loved my review and is shopping for one and saw one in white that was unbelievable!
@@Revmatchmedia I can totally understand Tx BBQ, lived in Lubbock for a couple years! I went with Snapper Rocks Blue and Silverstone/Black interior. I totally understand going with Alpine white, I’d originally ordered a 21 M550 in Tanzanite Blue II then changed to Alpine White with ivory nappa, there were huge delays with that build and delivery, so after waiting over 8 months and the dealer getting 22MY orders in I recently dumped that order and went for the M5 Comp on the 2nd order. It’s more money, but I haven’t had a payment for the last 8 months since I sold my Jag XFR-S after ordering the M550, so it evens out right?!?!
@@whoseyourchef2160 OMG you went with the next best color! Now I have a soft spot for Jag V8s but the BMW V8 won't make you miss it! Congrats and thanks again for watching!
Too many contradictions in your comments and thoughts. This is a hard driving performance car and you criticize it for being a rough ride and stopping too hard but then comment on how much fun it is. I do appreciate the info on the intangibles. I’m watching a lot of these videos as I’m looking to buy one soon. They all say the same thing about the looks, features and numbers. But not everyone mentions how difficult it is to get the phone out of that cubby and the disconnect issues with strong Wi-Fi. Thanks for that.
Thanks for the detailed review. Somehow I'm confused as you are one of the rare group of people who said the ride is not comfortable whereas most people said the ride of this LCI was improved vs the pre LCI. So is it a harsh ride in comfort mode?
Yeah it was harsh in any mode including comfort. I wouldn't be surprised if the bigger wheel/smaller tire combo didn't help it. The E-Class definitely had a more comfortable ride.
@@Eddymr12 from any Honda (except NSX) to a M5 is a big jump! I enjoyed the 4 series gran coupe and i4 a lot more because it was way more comfortable but still had good responsive sports modes. Obviously go for a test drive but it was a bit stiff even in comfort.
The M3/M4 large grill are absolutely atrocious. I've owned every M3 since the E30 and I refuse to buy one due to the looks. They are HORRENDOUS. That's why I bought an M5 comp LCI. If they make the next gen M5 with a god awful grill, it will be my last M car.
@@Revmatchmedia Alpine White with most factory carbon bits. It's a shame really. I absolutely love M cars. I've owned nearly all of them but the current 3/4 M is just SO hard to look at. I've spent hours around it in the dealer and I just can't get used to it. It looks like bugs bunny. LOL
Now I can’t unsee the bugs bunny lol. Btw I thought the red I had was nice but then a buddy showed me the Alpine White and that is perfection. It looked so damn nice!
