2021 Kia Soul LX Test Drive & Review 

I rented one while on vacation for 10 days racked up about 1200 miles this car did great going up and down steep hills drives and breaks very well. Drives very smooth and was surprisingly spacious and good on gas definitely recommend 10/10

My mom used to hate these, but she ended up renting one and now, she loves them

I have 23,000 miles on my 2020 Kia Soul X-Line and just had it serviced. They checked the piston rings and did a program update on my car’s computer. No issues and it’s running like a champ. Will definitely be a repeat customer. 🇺🇸 🇰🇷

I’m going to be buying a new 2021 LX in a few weeks or months I bought a new 2015 Kia Soul years ago it is my daily driver as I only drive my Mustang on nice days. There are many versions of the Soul but I want a base LX as a daily driver. so much value in this cars! Basically comfortable reliable economic transportation again I’m going to watch your video a few more times.

Just drove my 2020 kia soul lx from ocean county new jersey to Nassau County new York today very pleased the way it drove!!! Round trip was over 200 miles when i returned home

I have a 2021. That drivers seat was all the way back. Probably for the 6' 3" reviewer. So the 6' 3" rear passenger space looked pretty tight. PLENTY of head space too. The Soul is a great 'all-around' compact SUV. Utility is it's middle name. My first automatic Soul, you don't even know it's shifting unless you punch it. Real quiet too. Best value on the market. Deals galore because the Seltos is entering the market with AWD. Just buy an extra set of wheels with good winter tires and you can go anywhere an AWD can go with 'all season' tires.

i literally had a mental breakdown just now and watched this review and you cheered me up. Just got this car, I love it, the only reason why I had a breakdown is because it wasn't the car I was looking at lol. But thank you very much for doing this review and liking the car.

I love my 2020 LX with the 6 spd standard. It handled recent iced out south Texas rather well as I travel across San Antonio to my hospital job. Plenty of room and fun to drive. 1st to 2nd gear is pretty clunky though

i hated the boxy look of the soul’s but this 2021 with the rounder design.. i’m really considering buying one 😭

From watching most of these reviews, the later models (2013 - 2022) seem more reliable than there predecessors. I used to discourage my wife from buying the Soul when she loved em 11 years ago, now I won't talk her out of buying 2022 LX even though I wished the base model came with LED headlights and multizone AC control. 🤔👀

Can you even put a rear spoiler on this model?....... not feeling this design.... I’ll keep the 2016 I still have!

Yeah they put a lot of seat room in that car that's true lot of head room so that's when you're sitting by the side of the road with your engine locked up you're comfortable

how about thier sound system, speakers???

We have same car2021EX having oil consummation problems. The engines have improperly hardened piston rings my wife's car using over a quart of oil per 1400 miles

They have to make head space for tall people like me.

What aggravates me is any manufacturer can make a mistake this happened to be the heat treat on the piston rings that's not the problem the problem is the dealer tries to blow this off so they don't have to do the repair and this is the expensive repair and they know you women out there aren't going to check the oil in these cars at 3000 4000 miles you take it to the dealer and have them change it and you think everything's good while the dealer ain't going to tell you if it's losing oil or not that's up to the operator that's your job open the hood check the dipstick put it back in the hole pull it out see where the level is that's up to you that's the operator you're running it that's your responsibility and their responsibility is to replace the motor if it's using a lot of oil that's their problem that's not your problem

Yeah these dealers are all the same I hate the salesman they're your buddies when they're selling it. After they sold it to you it's your baby they don't want to talk to you when you have problems especially engine problems tell you people saying how good your cars are all I love my Kia Soul lift up the hood check the oil how do you say how good this thing is

Yeah they're always mean to government at the dealership because they can get away with it it's different when a man goes over there with a problem they never give me a problem over there LOL

Have the dealer change the oil then start checking it at 500 miles and 1400 miles to see where the level goes if you're not checking the oil you're clueless what the motors doing you have to monitor your own engine oil the dealers not going to do it for you but when they change it and the filter the full mark driving 500 check it see where it's at if it's going down drive it a thousand see where it's at check it and if it's going down take it back to the dealer and some hay this thing's use an oil they got to do something with it they made this problem they sold you the car they need to fix it

See that red car he's advertising their do you hear it running it sounds like a diesel that's because the piston rings are scraping the cylinder walls big time it's shaving off the metal as it sitting there running after they put a new motor in it it'll be a good car if they fix the ring problem Osmond's beautiful now 2021 ex but after they put the engine in it replace the engine imagine that replace the engine on a brand new car and the bad part about that I looked all through the compartments in their the glovebox the armrest and everything and I didn't even get a pair of chopsticks with it

I hope I cane save someone a. Problem. The car is good but the engine is bad. I don't enjoy hanging out at the dealer if you do buy one

And don't let him bullshit you until the store that's normal oil consumption and that's in the normal for Kia for those cars to be doing that well it's not normal and if they're using oil like that it's either going through the valve guides or the piston rings they don't want to do this job because it's a lot of work in the material for the job with the motor and the gaskets in the front cover and everything is about 37 hundred bucks but if you don't check the dipstick yourself and take pictures of it with your cell phone then your lost you got to keep a paper log of this thing to all the times you went back to the dealer and if they can't get any satisfaction they also have a lemon law little Lemon Law attorney and go after them

I can't believe they're trying to sell this piece of junk on the internet with the motor grinding away and they're trying to sell this thing unbelievable that's why they're trying to unload this car probably somebody traded it in because it had a oil usage issues

Fix your engine problems

I am going to post on every site and video untill I get answers from this company who does not take care of customers if you want to stay in business you will out an engine in my car you will be out if business soon kia mark my words

Who cares about all that garbage your wheels you got steel wheels are aluminum wheels who cares they got a sunroof you got power windows who cares fix your motor problems you got ring problems with that car fix the customers cars that you sold and when they come back with customer issues because your piston rings weren't hardened correctly you give him a hard time it's not their fault it's the junk you sold them fix the problem
