Bro you must be my long lost rich single twin brother lol! I've been building this exact bike for 2 years in my head and on the internet. But u can't find a 09SP here in the midsouth, I could over pay and pay to get one shipped but nooo $$$$ I'm waiting for my turn for one but as soon as I get mine it's going to be built identical to yours. Love it!
I've got the 2023 MT-09-SP. Just rode my second track day yesterday at Sonoma and my first was at Laguna Seca. Not sure how you have chicken strips if you were wearing down your pegs. I was all the way to the edge of the tire before I actually started dragging my pegs. Strange. The bikes are virtually the same. Perhaps my SP suspension is set firmer so that I'm not compressing down to the pegs even though I'm all the way leaned over on the tire. I appreciate your video but the obvious questions are; How much higher and to the rear are the rear sets? And since the stock risers and bars are already right down on the tank, how much lower can one get them and what is the actual difference based on specifications? Thanks for any help?
I'm trying to the same with the Woodcraft 1.5" down and the FJ09 riser. My clutch cable is hitting the cluster badly and I can't seem to find a way to pass it somewhere. You have the 1" down or 1.5" down? Guess I may have to put my stock riser back. I was using OEM bar with FJ09 since start.
this 1 mod , have an impact at your driving ? you know , 1 mod keep you on kind of train rails ?? ! Cause averybody said how playful is the Tracer 900 and Mt09 ,but when i ride it , i didnt find it playful at all . Now... this conclusion is falty cause the bike was set at mod 1 when i ride it ??????
