I mean do i still need to remove the cylinder deactivation system... Will removing it from third party service centre, makes its warranty void.. Will Skoda vw come to know about it..

Bhai award winning engine hai 1.0 litre TSI....kuch bhi mat bolo yar...the engines from VW/Skoda grp require good maintenance unlike other car engines in india and if you cant maintain engine with timely servicing then one should stick to Maruti.....And also it would be far easier and cheaper to manage the 1 litre TSI than 1.5 litre TSI which is totally imported.

Prices are still high when compared to the competition...less showrooms and service availability which includes all major cities...I believe they can hardly sell below 500 to 1000 per month where others can do the sales on or after 8k to 12k. I was very disappointed.

Carmaster, please make a video on why feature loaded cars at cheaper prices are worth avoiding at any cost especially Seltos, Creta and Hector. I am going to tell you why. Putting a lot of features at cheaper price by those Koreans and Chinese did result not only in safety and dynamics but in reliability too. Yes, those feature loaded cars are loaded with a ton of electronics and wires to run those features. Since these cars are brought at cheaper price, no one knows what is the quality of those wires and electronics used to run those features. Their quality will be definitely compromised to a great extent to keep costs in check. Their reliability will be horrible in the long term because of those electronics that too at cheaper. Seltos already got 3 stars showing how poorly built and unsafe it is. So the quality of it's electronics will be compromised too. In the future they will be so unreliable in such a great extent that they will be as problematic as older Tata cars and DSG gearboxes (at least DQ200). Also since these cars are loaded with a ton of electronics that too of low quality and cluttered everywhere in the car, so the maintainence cost will as high as the maintainence of an Audi or a BMW or a Merc. Trust me in the future, even BMWs, Mercs and Audis will be far better to maintain than those feature loaded cheap cars especially Seltos, Creta, Hector and many other Korean cars. Those feature loaded cheaper cars will be super problematic in the future and I can guarantee that. If you really want features then work hard and buy an Audi or a Volvo or a Merc or a BMW. Actually BMW, Audis, Mercs, Lexus and Volvos too have decent features and still feel barebones in terms of features (except higher end Germans and all Volvos) compawith those Koreans but their electronics and wires are far better build and offer better quality and reliability as well. Even a 1 crore rupee BMW X5 doesn't get an air purifier, connected car tech, lane watch cameras and ventilated seats unlike a 14 lakh Sonet and 20 lakh Seltos which gets all of them. Because the X5's quality of the electronics and wires are far better built and are decently reliable. Even Audis, Volvos, Lexus cars and Mercs have better quality of electronics and wires too. But those Koreans like Seltos, Creta, Sonet and Chinese like Hector are supremely feature loaded at cheaper price. Moreover India has a record of cost cutting in terms of automobiles. So their quality will be definitely horrible. Seltos's safety, brake issues and DCT problems in all Hyundais and Kias will definitely say that. In the future they will be as problematic as older Tatas. Of course even BMWs, Mercs and Audis don't have good reliability either and are nowhere close to Volvo(except twin turbo diesel variants) and Lexus in terms of reliability and they are quite expensive to mainta but they are far more reliable and have far better electronics and wires and literally cheaper to maintain than those so called feature loaded cheaper cars. Even the Innova and Fortuner are still barebones in terms of features and technology but they have excellent reliability as they have less features mean less electronics with superior quality and reliability. People who buy Innova and Fortuner obviously have knowledge and not only buy them just because of brand value even because of Toyota's legendary reliability too. All Innova and Fortuner owners swear by lack of features. Moreover the Innova Crysta is far better buy than the feature loaded Alcazar and Hector plus even though it's far more expensive because of long term usage. Hyundai, Kia and MG are doing rubbish blunders by giving a truck load of features at cheaper price making their reliability as worse as older Tatas and their maintainence cost as high a BMW, Merc, Audi, Skoda and VW. Hyundai group and MG are spoiling all customers and other carmakers too. Now Skoda has been spoiled now. The Kushaq gets features instead of Rapid like German quality. That's because of Hyundai and Kia's rubbish features trend. I fear that even VW and others might do that as well. So that's why I am saying everyone to #boycottfeatureloadedcarsatcheapprice and #avoidSeltosCretaHectorandallKiasandhyundais . That's my humble request for everyone. The main reason my dad bought the Rapid over the Verna and City is mainly because of the poor reliability of their electronics with the addition of features (except City). Buying an outdated Rapid and overpriced City are far better than Verna. Once again I am saying, If you want features then work hard and buy an Audi or a BMW or a Merc or a Volvo or buy a used any used luxury car. Those luxury cars still look overpriced and barebones in terms of features compared with the Koreans but they have far better built electronics and wires and are far more reliable. Even Rapid, Polo, Innova and Fortuner are far better buy than those feature loaded cheaper cars. But those journalists like Faisal Khan and many others just blabber no features in Rapid, Kushaq or Innova or a Fortuner as if they are addicted towards those Koreans. They should learn about this. Hyundai and Kia are just converting cars to use and throw mobile phones. Mobile phones can be used and thrown but for cars it's not possible at all as many people spend their hard earned money. Many aren't millionares who can just sell within 3 years. Sunderdeep Paaji, tell everyone about and please make a video on this and post this comment on your Volklub website. Everyone should see this and is a must. Being a car enthusiast, I I don't want future cars to be mobile phones and become use and throw materials at all. Many people will waste their hard earned money on such rubbish feature loaded cars. So once again I am saying #avoidfeatureloadedcarsatcheaperprice. That's my humble request. The reliability of newer Hyundai and Kia cars is a big myth. Newer Kias and Hyundais are reportedly catching fire in the US mainly because of heavy electronics and their poor quality.
