The Yamaha MT-09 got a serious update for this year: bigger and reworked engine, IMU-based electronics, new headlight. It looks very good on paper, but we took it out for a ride to find out how it feels in real life.
Hey folks, you can't see that headlight when you're riding it and listening to that sweet triple. Don't get too hung up on a freaking headlight. This is gonna be a great bike. That triple with a quick shifter has gotta b an epic ride!

at 8:27 he tells confusing data: 8 foot (unlikely) or 180cm - but then he says he is pretty tall, but even in Europe 1,80m is more average than pretty tall. Pretty tall is at least more than 1,9m or even above 2m
@@overboost7667 yes yes I already saw like a few Riders riding the Cb650 with 1,80 but they tell that they are comfortable but on the limit.. And people on the 07 but never tall.. I will try seet on the 09 but I think just the tracer and its fucking expensiv
good question. They are very close in terms of price. The S 1000 might be slightly less bananas and easier to live with I guess. Both are sweet bikes no doubt
I’m tossing up between this or a v2 I’m scared of wheelies done my knee and dislocated my shoulder on a bmx in two seperate incidents. I can imagine adding a motor too that equation would not end well for me
I heard many complained that Yamaha got rid of the big orange indicators they had been using for the last 25-30 years...so to compensate they designed a fugly headlight. It's almost as if these bikes were aimed at 12 year old kids. When it's not a transformer design, its childish color combination. I had a 2014 FZ09 and it was a super fun bike, just seems to be getting uglier every time they change something...
