The ArrowCat 420 Coupe is unlike any other boat featured on this channel so far. This power cat measures in at 41’9 in length with a beam of 14’9 giving a ton of space, stability, and comfort onboard. You get a sense of the amount of space available as soon as you step into the aft cockpit….IT’S HUGE!! Here you have an outdoor grilling station, an outdoor fridge, retractable sun awning, and I love the way the windows and doors can open up to make the entire deck level open plan.
ArrowCat aren’t mass produced or built with fixed specs in mind. Instead, they will discuss your needs, wants, requirements, and budget and help design a bespoke specification to suit. This includes a wide range of both gas and diesel outboards…..yes diesel outboards!! ArrowCat support OXE 300hp diesel outboards that offer phenomenal fuel consumption figures over the equivalent gas engines.
In the right setup and right conditions, you can expect a top end speed around 40 knots, a cruising speed in the low 20’s, and a range of around 300 miles.
Inside, you have great headroom, a ton of natural light from all those windows, and an interior that is very much yacht finish. The woodwork and craftsmanship onboard are superb! You have the galley to starboard with a fridge freezer, stove top, storage, and sink. To port, you have L shaped seating at the saloon with a dining table included. This table can expand when needed, or remain folded with drinks holders in place instead.
The helm is somewhat centrally located and offers multi-function displays, autopilot, VHF, and can be equipped with joystick controls. You also have controls for the anchor windlass to save you from going up forward instead.
The main stateroom onboard offers a king size berth and this cabin can be accessed from either hull. There are also storage options on both sides from drawers under the bed, to hanging locker space as well. There is a 2nd guest cabin onboard that is basically under the galley on the starboard side. On the port hull, you fill find the full walk in heads compartment with a sperate shower, toilet, and plenty of storage for toiletries and personal belongings.
