Nice vidéo. Do you took M10 or M12 Motogadget adapters please ?

Hello @Jazz31000 Thanks and thanks for the question. Please see the link in my show notes. There you will see "Compatible with BMW motorcycles with M12 threaded handlebar ends, m.View Bar Adapters provide a clamping surface for Motogadget m.View bar end mirrors. This enables the fitment of m.View mirrors without needing to move handlebar controls inward or shorten grips." I hope that helps? Please let me know and post pics once your done with your mods. Aluminium mirrors huh, very interesting Also worth noting is with the r nine t s fat tank, a lot mirrors if you install it under bar it actually hits the tank so the turning radius is reduced

Thanks, and I tried these in the below-handlebar position, and visibly was obstructed by my arms, so in the final walkaround/update video (coming soon!) you'll see how they have wound up.

PS: Yes, I'd never heard of polished aluminum "mirrors", but they are quite thin and work/reflect quite well. Who would have thought?!

You can purchase handlebar brackets from the racer model to eliminate the ugly mirror stalks.

Just to let you know....the r nine t racer has different clutch and brake clamps without the mirror housing...not cheap but perhaps prettier than bungs for the mirror mounts.

Thanks, that's good to know and share. I learned from another viewer that you can rotate the stock ones, so I did that later on and you can see the result in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ELVAxomhlVk.html The nibs ar still there but a wee bit less obvious. How did you remove the gap between the cap and the mirror?? I just installed mine and I also have that gap. I saw your other video where the gap is no longer there. Thanks.

Hi @mauleon01 good eye! Thanks for watching more than one episode, and for your great question. At first, I thought that was just how it would be on the bike, and after doing some additional fiddling (and muscling) I was able to get that "initial bolt" deeper into the the handlebar, if you know what I mean. I was being very cautions not to strip the threads and I was concerned with overtightening it. So, on your bike, try getting that initial bolt threaded just about all the way to the grip. Then the mirror ring-connection will fully cover that bolt's head. The result is a flush surface for the cosmetic end piece to snug down on. I hope that makes sense and will work for you. Ride safe.

I have the same mirrors but i have a isue to fitting correctly it to thight for the adapter to make the all the way to mirror hole

@@Nazim.D I know what you mean, it was a bit of a challenge to get them on. Maybe try with out the brass washer?

@@Nazim.D It's been a while and my bike's getting serviced so I can't double check right now., but if memory serves and if I understand your question, I *think* I did not use the brass washer at all and installed the mirror directly to the threaded steel bolt (if you know what I mean) that came with it. If this is unclear, maybe reach out to RevZilla or the manufacturer? They may be able to better talk you through what you are dealing with than I can. Best with it!
