A tip for your gearbox. Because you are driving a boxer engine the gears are not always in place . Just release a small bit of your clutch and put him in first. ;)

Yes. I bought these and installed without issue. The look great, but function even better. I find distance object are clearer seem like there is less vibration than the stock mirrors. Thank

yeah I've noticed the boxer's have a weird N-1, 1-N.... i looked like an idiot when I first tried to pull off the lot on the r9t and couldnt get it in gear.. haha. Salesman had to come show me how to nurse the clutch lever a little to get it to shift better

Really nice ! just a question about the Mirror size. Did you select 19mm / 22mm or BMW R nine T? Other stuff I don't know if you figured out for your first Gear. Sometimes you just have to release a bit your left hand pression and you'll hear "something", then you can find again your first gear. (dunno if it's understanding, pardon my english) PS : when are you gonna install some leather bags on your pure? :p

I just selected BMW R nineT on the drop down menu: revivalcycles.com/products/oberon-adjustable-bar-end-mirror I'm pretty used to the first gear now, but thanks for the helpful tips! I'm still debating if I'm going to put bags on, if I do it will be the ones from Unit Garage.

Too bad; in the low light I can't see what you were doing. Can you use the old mounts for holding a GPS or Phone holder.

Sorry about that, lighting will improve in future install episodes! Thanks for the feedback. Regarding the old (mirror) mounts, I'm going to assume it's possible with some sort of adapter. However, I've yet to see any on the market.

For something like an adapter, just go to a "good" hardware store. You might be able to find a "ball" that will screw onto the fitting that will take Ram Mount holders.

My local hardware store has "balls" with metric female threads. I believe the Ram Mounts take 1" balls. Be easy to find local or online.

Hey, i noticed you had a small issue when getting the mirrors together that the washers was not sitting nor sliding into the holder smoothy, im currently having the same sure and wanted to know how you managed to put the two pieces together.

Thanks. It's wider by 2" but I haven't noticed a difference splitting. Visibility is superb.

@sidestand So my 2008 Guzzi 1200 Sport does the same thing sometimes, and I think it's a big twin/dry clutch/euro gearbox thing. What I learned to do a long time ago was to drop the gearbox into 1st as I'm rolling up to a stop. It goes into gear much easier when the bike's rolling. Then, if it's a long stop light I'll put it in neutral. Since it was already in 1st, it's much easier to get the bike into first once the light turns green. Hope this helps you guys.

Thanks for watching! I’m not sure, ASC would flash if you changed a wheel and the speed sensor is not aligned. Have you check with your dealer?

One word for anyone else reading this....ROKFORM. Seriously, it is such a better idea/design for a phone mount and is so freaking useful even outside of the motorcycle thing because you then have a strong magnet in your case. You can stick your phone anywhere that is magnetic after that! Also, they sell little round magnets on tiny stands that you can stick in your car. The magnet always holds, even under heavy bumps etc.

Hi, I'm looking at getting these mirrors for my Rninet scrambler. The link on Oberon's site shows fitting instructions and all sorts of adapters being included. I see you didn't need any but were they included? Cheers, Steve.

Mine only came with 1 adapter and a few bolts. Make sure you select RnineT from the drop down menu before you add to the cart. Cheers!

Should actually work better turned down since they will be below automobile mirrors and should pass right under them. I hit vehicle mirrors with my handlebars all the time, no big deal don’t even feel it really, but I hate when my mirror hits because it could break. I’m thinking of putting this style on my FZ-09 and turning them down.
