Gdyby wciąż mogli do niego wkładać 1.4 T-Jet'a, a jakość wykonania wnętrza była na poziomie fiatów z lat 2005-2010 (Bravo, Croma, czy choćby Grande Punto) to można by się zastanowić. Jeśli potwierdzą się plotki, że w tym roku dojdzie jednostka 1.5 FireFly 150KM z automatem DCT w opcji - to może zainteresowanie będzie. A tak, to te Tipo może być jedynie (droższą) alternatywą dla Dacii. Szkoda, bo jak w 2009 kupowałem Grande Punto 1.4 95KM, to osiągami, wyposażeniem i ceną nie ustępowało Fabii, Ibizie, czy nawet Peugotowi 207. Dziś między tymi markami, a Fiatem jest przepaść. Choć z drugiej strony, to celowa polityka wdrożona jeszcze przez Marchionne - odpuszczenie segmentów, gdzie jest duża konkurencja. Fiat znów jest prostym wozidełkiem, tylko już nie takim tanim...

I have a 2006 grande Punto but this Tipo is so much better, and modern. Maybe my next car is the Tipo. Fiat is so underrared and have good engines

Está estupidamente caro agora (pós face-lift), provávelmente não seria grande sucesso... aqui em portugal é um carro de mais de 30 000€ (cerca de 160 00 Reais). Pessoalmente acho que não é grande carro pelo preço...

no city car, consumption 7l/100 km, overall he doesn't like driving in the city, manual. I have this car and since the beginning I have a combined consumption of exactly 6l/100 km. 50% highway, 30% outside the city and 20% city. It doesn't really matter if it's summer, winter, air conditioning, etc. It feels best outside the city, consumption 4-5 liters and on the highway, of course it depends on the surface and speed, wind, but the average is from 5.5-6.5 liters if I step on the gas. Overall, I am very satisfied, a large, functional, reliable, sophisticated, cheap car with a small but mature and powerful engine for its category.

I have the same car. Nothing to say about performance but the fuel consumption is 7,6 l / 100 km ( not 5,6 / 100 as Fiat declares )

It depends a lot on how clean you drive. Also city and highway driving give you different readings.

Me pure city drive not under 9l/100km. Outside city 6-7l, 5,6l/100km no way to reach but it's decent car.

Never ever been a fan of Fiat but the Tipo seems to be pretty decent. The quality and reliability just make it fall in the category.

On the quality of the interiors I totally agree but the reliability I can assure you that is very good, mechanically is very reliable. The only problems might be some stupid sensor of the ADAS that don’t work properly, but for the rest it holds up very well.

It's a cheap car that gives a lot for the price. There are not many budget cars left so it will be one of the best in this category.

Ten silnik ma jeszcze wersję 120hp (choćby w 500x). Wydaje się naturalnym, aby taka odmiana była również częścią Tipo. Sam z chęcią kupiłbym 1.0/120 6 biegów. 1.0/ 100 5 biegów, nie ma dla mnie racji bytu

The quality of the materials used, the quality in the machining of the engine parts, etc. If you don't like three cylinders, I understand, but saying they're all bullshit, I don't agree. Odnośnie spalania, to Fiat ma jakieś głupie jednostki ustawione fabrycznie i pokazuje km/l zamiast l/100km. Więc po przeliczeniu wychodzi realnie ok 9l :)

I had experience in driving this car with 1.4 non-turbo engine. I didn't like this version, it has no torque at low rpm (even in comparison with other non-turbo engines). This engine is looking better in this case, but reliability of 1.0 turbo engine can be worse.

Which other non turbo engines do you mean? I'm curious, because I daily a 2005 Astra G with Z14XEP, which has 90hp and 125 Nm, basically the same as Tipo

@@user-wm2ff8zn1b Cobalt's engine has 10 more hp and 7 more Nms, which is definitely noticeable itself, and combined with most likely much newer architecture of GM engines (FIRE family was introduced in 1985, while that 1.4 Tipo uses debuted in 2005) it makes sense that Tipo would feel sluggish.

Its a confusion with logos.... this interferes with the visual identity of the brand... Only brazilian Fiat has the new logo inside and outside the cars
