Maybe, but with an extra 2 lacs a mechanical diff lock & 4 low is what they should have offered to justify the price. Also does is get the same 9 speaker Alpine System as the Compass S ??
@@_M_D_M_ yes exactly jeep 4x4 system is absolute junk. It's the most non effective 4x4 system along with Mahindra Scorpio 4x4....but mahindra thar and Gurkha has one of the best 4x4 system.
Few things to clarify here- 1. Compass doesn’t come with a sport mode 2. 2021 Compass gets 4 low so it’s nothing new in the TL 3. The rock mode is new here and the 2021 Compass doesn’t get it
Brilliant review. The only Trailhawk review I saw till the end frankly - rest of them lost me early on. I do disagree on your price estimate though. Given how loaded the S variant is, I suspect the Trailhawk won’t be more than 1.25 - 1.5L at most over the diesel S A/T price.
Cant afford this beast! But, Another 5 years and i will own this beast. Hopefully they dont leave india and build quality lasts. Manual would have been more engaging ofcourse!
Corrections 1. It doesn't have a Sport mode. If you put it in Manual, it will hold the gear to 4k and then shift. On normal, it will shift much earlier. 2. 4 W Low is available in S and Limited as well. This is a car if you want to have fun with a SUV. Its actually well priced for what it offers. If you want spacious car, then look elsewhere
I waited for this with regular compass launch .. but bought model S .. it took much time to launch .. they should bring hybrids By d way.. those dusty shots are 👌👌👌 And plz stop hitting that gear lever.. 😤
What i have heard of it is ...the backseeat comfort infact better than rest of the herd ! The thigh cushion area is much broader than rest of any vehicles in its segment.
It's coming with 225/60 R17 All Terrain Tyres and Regular Model S(O2) with 225/55 R18 All Season tyres. Please correct it in review! Then it's with 170bhp!
Sirish, I watch this channel for your motorsports experience. So, please... Aren't they 17 inch 'wheels' and not 17 inch 'tyres'?... Small things but, it makes a big difference... @01:16 for reference.
This car is for driving enthusiasts who appreciate the class leading off-roading capabilities, luxury, fit and finish on offer by Jeep and most importantly, acknowledge the fact that one needs to pay good money for real quality. No offence to Mahindra, they are really trying to improve, but they are still miles behind Jeep both on quality and capability. This car has been priced at par with it's international versions with minimal changes for the Indian market so it's not overpriced at all for the proven quality it offers. You can watch the many, many reviews on the Jeep Compass Trailhawk that are available on RU-vid by foreign car reviewers as well and they all are unanimous in their views that this is a really good car. I am really glad that we Indians now have a choice of buying a globally proven off-roader that is actually worth it's price tag.
Off road is a joke for compass with such low ground clearance and approach angle. Indians are fool but not everyone. if car doesn't have proper ground clearance don't call it offroader. That's where jeep fails
