man oh man i love the look of this bike, it's my favorite 1000cc. i will have to add one of these to the collection one day. but i will never sell my R3 it's too good of a daily rider and saves butt loads of gas. my dad has a S1000 that just collects dust all year, he doesn't ride anymore so whenever i get that itch to ride a 1000cc i just take his for a spin. btw, that area looks familiar, is that Pleasanton? i ride in Fremont
i understand that my riding habits are a lot different than most. my first ride on a new bike only ends with a low fuel light. My first oil change is less than a week after purchase. I absolutely do not believe anyone with 3k miles on a bike is giving you a true 1 year review.
Hi Sir. Just want to ask if you can feel the engine heat of the bike from knee to feet? I watched naked bike review. They mentioned they feel the engine heat specially when busy traffic.
I have the ZX-6R and the thing gets hot in traffic. It don't get hot easily but it gets very hot when it's not moving. It's very nice on a cold day but it will make you sweat more on a hot day. It's not unbearable or uncomfortable. But it is hot. The zx10r should be the same at the very least.
@@spiritualru2364 thanks for replying. I was asking because the newer R1's having you leaning towards the handle bars too much. Versus the gsxr and gen 5 zx10r you are more upright.
@@antownemercer7552 i own a 16 r1 and did test ride a 22 zx10r, the zx10 is much more comfortable from factory but on the R1 if you get HeliBars it rises the handlbars about an inch up and back. makes daily riding as comfortable as the zx10 just without cruise control. If you want the r1 for the sound helibars are a great option to make it comfortable.
Been watching alot of fastlaneD huh lol I like video though man I'm about to pick myself up one, got into an accident in September and lost my ducati v4s😭 so I figured I'd go with my other dream bike this time. I'm healing at the moment broken bones but I can't wait to hear the sound of the exhaust hauling ass down the road.
1 year less than 5k miles and you think you can give a review of a superbike lol ? Try to test the bikes abilities on the track, if you can afford a liter bike than you can afford a track day. It's like me reviewing a mustang gt and only drive it in the neighborhood
bruh ur so pressed for what? 95% of people who buy a liter bike aren’t riding on tracks. People buy them cuz they look cool and are fast. And mustangs are also mostly driven on regular roads, not on tracks…
