2022 klr exhaust update!! ITS WORTH THE MONEY!!!

We did an exhaust change on a 2022 Kawasaki klr to see if it would bring some extra bottom end torque and to our surprise it made a substantial difference! Factory exhaust is roughly 14 lbs and the after market delkevic exhaust is roughly 5 lbs. It did make the bike louder however after you get it up to cruising speeds it calmed down really well. In our opinion it was worth the extra money!!

Just put that exact system on my 2018 klr650, wow what a difference! Have no idea why I waited so long to do get mine . It sounds like a new bike with a mean sound instead of a Briggs and Straton lawn mower! I just love my klr650!

Got mine put on a few days ago. My ears can stand it at like 67 miles an hour. Your right about the torque increase. Im putting the quiet core I ordered at the same time in tomorrow.

Let me know if that makes a difference! Yeah i started wearing ear plugs riding, helps me keep from getting a head ache from wind noise and exhaust noise

Hey! I got that quiet core put in today, wow, way better man! Still sounds bad ass at an idle. When you stomp the throttle it barks nicely, and when you are cruising down the road at 65- 70 mph you can still talk on your Cardo! Way worth the $ 👍

The best mod on the 22 klr is change front pipe to pre 2018 stock e bay pipe. Weld a nut to the top and drill for 02 sensor. I used a Lexx pipe with db/ spark arrestor. Perfect sound and massive engine power improvement with no check engine light. 300 bucks for perfect perf.

Yes had one on a xt250 and man is it load i put a leo vince exhaust on my klr650 2022 adventure and found it great not to load and lot of more performance 😀 👍 Cheers ✔️ 🍻

The 22 klr front pipe was claimed to improve mid range torque. NO. Its for euro 4 smog choke. Trust me on this one. My bike sounds like a BSA GOLD STAR now. Vintage mellow bass brap. No joke.

no it does not. my buddy has his saddle bags on the side pannel and it has not been a problem as far as getting too hot

@@thomasclark2262 after doing some research, I found that the exhaust pipe is not fiberglass insulated. However like I said previously unless you have something sitting on the exhaust pipe itself it does not get hot enough to melt anything.
