Coach Pitt is off to a good 👍start.....loved his comment about how important winning Razorback FOOTBALL was to the state of Arkansas....not pussyfootin' around about it.

OHH we BEAT Alabama. The refs stole that game outright. Even the announce team agreed. Fell asleep vs. Auburn. Dunno what other game we coulda won that we didn't. 9-4 after 1/2 a decade of losing seasons and in the 2nd yr for Pitty? WE ARE BACK.

Respect to PSU and Coach Franklin for still playing the game down some guys. Those that did play played very hard and were a tough out. I'm with you in not being a fan of the bowl opt outs. I'm afraid eventually it will transition into opting out of regular season games.

Outback Bowl is a great bowl, but it’s not a NY6. Cotton, Fiesta, Sugar, Peach, Rose, Orange.

@@ekibirigeable yes, the Peach Bowl (fka the Chick Fil A bowl) is a NY6. But prior to the CFP it was NOT one of the BCS bowls at the time. So making the Peach bowl in 2022 means way more than making the chick fil a bowl in 2013. I think he also meant a New Year’s Day type bowl, but it is definitely not one of the NY6 bowls or a BCS level bowl.

In all honesty, Briles is good with drawing up certain plays, but he's kinda bad about when to use then. I feel like we could upgrade at OC.

Think about this: Arkansas played Alabama better than Cincinnati.

No he’s good at qb. KJ could barely throw the ball last year too but look at him now. If there’s one thing I have confidence in Kendal Briles to do it’s develop a qb.

From what I’ve heard they’re hoping to use him as a multi-positional guy, sometimes as a slot receiver and sometimes lined up in the backfield with KJ to run option. They just need another qb to step up bc with how physical KJ plays you need someone ready to play.

He bit on an already covered WR on the Penn State td pass, left him wide open, he was the safety in that zone and bit on a guy covered by a LB. More than made up for it with the pick and sacks, great season

Believed to be the fastest in the SEC and one of the fastest in NCAA. Razorback started the idea of using track sprinters as receivers if I recall.

He only threw 4 picks all year lol, I think it's okay if he has a rare error. He threw it a little late, but his receiver also has to help him out and actually go for the ball rather than sitting and waiting which allowed the safety to get over in time.

Tell that to Ole Miss QB who probably just lost 10mil for a bowl game. A player at this point has to decide what's best for him and his family. A true teammate would never ask another teammate to choose between his future and a bowl game.

If we gave a scholarship to an NFL prospect then it was money well spent! I would be more upset at the scholarships given to those who slacked and did not perform to NFL quality. Try looking at it from a different perspective. Who cares if they opt out of a bowl game. (bowl games are known to have the highest percentage of injuries, probably bc its the last football for most players careers.)
