After driving the peterbilt 579 2023 man I felt like I was in heaven thanks prime inc unfortunately didn’t work out Im planning on buying my own though😂😂
I ran a fleet of trucks for 20 yrs and have no bias as to brands as I have owned them all and I currently am working a job in a semi retired mode and the truck is a 579 with an mx13 and I wouldn't recommend it to anybody it spends more time in the shop then any I have ever owned never for anything major just one annoying glitch after another Such as the AC just randomly decides not to work and then work as does random things like the low coolant light and dings while it is full of coolant ...and the best thing is it will throw a shut down light and the display will tell ya no faults found ....I'm just happy I am not the one paying for it
Yes. This is the dream. Exhaust is a must. In fact, would be nice to see 8" straight pipes on this bad boy. Do you have another one like this one in Blue or Red color?
If it’s done right it looks good. You guys have a right to your option but it most certainly does not prove you are right. All it proves is an opinion. Nothing more
Midroof is gorgeous on the outside. The Ultraloft is abviously better inside. And you can't put straight pipes with the ultraloft :). You can and should with the mid roof :).
Hi super nice video I have a question if you have a low budget with all your knowledge and only can afford a use cemi which would be your first 3 options and why
Peterbilt. Pre-2007. Easy to operate and work on. However, you will always be working on it because of the year. It's just getting old and everything wears out. If you are trucking to make money you need to buy a new truck. You will never start making money until you start running new trucks.
Hey Keith what does one of these 579's cost out the door fet included? Furthermore what type of credit history/down payment would be needed for financing? Thank you for a response to these questions it would very helpful in planning a truck purchase going forward.
@@RockyMountainPeterbilts the suspension geometry is different between the two of them. I don't remember which one is which, but I know an owner operator who had a 379 with the earlier version and put a million plus miles on it. He bought a new long nose truck with the newer suspension and promptly rolled it over on 77 in WV. This must have happened sometime around 2013 or 14.
cooll trucks runing street FLOREST AMAZONICA location brasil street sand in brasil , I hop weells strong, super truck USA , I do enjoy , congratulation
Nice truck no doubt about it, i let you know what is the cooling issue is, the radiator isn’t big enough for even the 565, I have the same problem on my t660 on my 550 Cummins, my local Cummins shop pointed in the Dino the radiator is no big enough to keep the heat and kenworth don’t make for the model more big, in fact is a problem of the design, engineering is falling in that part
OK. Here's the deal on the 2050TQ: I can get a 2050TQ 565 or 605, however, if it's a 605 it's limited to 80,000lbs. GCWR. So if we want anything above 80,000lbs. we need to use a 565HP motor. Also, if we go 2050TQ we are forced into an 18 speed manual or an 18 speed Ultra-Shift Plus. No other tranny's available for that configuration.
Could this truck be ordered with NO electronics on the steering wheel? What's the largest sleeper? Not enough storage in this one, for me. Can you get a deeper bumper and visor? What about all cabinets with doors?
I've been looking and reading, dash is what is shown, unless you want used. As for the rest you will have to have a sitdown with the dealer. Best wishes from the far North.
This is the largest sleeper but if you order it with a single bunk you get 2 extra cabinets and you can get them all with doors. As far as I know the new smart steering wheel is standard you can’t get a “dumb” wheel
I would rather have the sleeper berth curtain to not be right behind the seats. I see other trucks with them up front. but ive seen other drivers sort of make their own for up front, guess i could do that. Besides that, looks very nice.
Can you just give me this truck....just wash it drive it here give me the keys and title ...I'll wear a Big foot costume driving it waiving at people... 👀
@@jcsully go do your research and ask. I was just at Shreveport Peterbilt and it was told to me by a salesman. The 389 will be no more that's why Kenworth came out with the w990 for carhaulers.
Research has been done. That salesman just wanted to sell a truck. And if your research is listening to a salesman, then YOU haven't done YOUR research.
