In Utah I see a lot of Raptors, Rebels, TRXs, Power Wagons, Colorado ZR2s, and TRD Pros towing. Many of them appear to be over their payload and probably over their towing capacity. I decided it would be a good idea to test this Silverado ZR2 to see how well it can tow. It does have reduced payload and towing capacities when compared to other GM 1500's, partially due to the 3.23 axle ratio. However, it still has the 6.2 V8 and 10-speed auto with plenty of power.
