2022 Volvo XC40 Review | BEST Compact SUV!? 

love my fully loaded XC40 T4 FWD Rdesign with the 20 inch wheels here in the South of USA and been to many drive thru safari's and long road trips, and I find the ride and comfort exceptional! It's a great start to a Volvo Luxury segment

Picked up an identical 2022 R-Design last month with the same options (paint, HK stereo +21" rims) except the advanced package. Absolutely love it.

Hello from Sweden. Just a note on the keys. You always get three keys when buying a Volvo, *two black ones* and a red one (which is now replaced by an orange colored). The orange key is a so called "Care Key". _"Volvo Cars today reveals the Care Key, allowing any Volvo buyer to set a speed limit for themselves, their family members or friends. The Care Key will come as standard on all Volvo cars from model year 2021._ _The Care Key allows Volvo drivers to set limitations on the car’s top speed, before lending their car to other family members or to younger and inexperienced drivers such as teenagers that only just received their drivers’ licence."_ - Volvo Cars, Gothenburg, Sweden You can also use the orange colored key when you wish to share the car with someone who doesn't have a key. You put it in the glove box, lock the car and give a code to a family member, friend etc who can then use the Volvo app on their phone to open the doors and use the car as a "guest".

Hi does the volvo come with keyless remote start?

Unless they changed the suspension and steering tuning for 2022, this is the first review that I've seen that doesn't mention that the XC40's ride is a bit too firm for its segment and that the steering is vague.

Does it have ambient light?

i fail to see the superiority of the xc60 if you put aside a little more trunk space. nothing that can justify the price "upgrade"

That spoiler at rear makes it a dirty window. Always needs cleaning and the squeegee has to be the right size Not liking the spoiler Volvo

I wouldn’t buy this car again. As an owner half the features don’t work as expected. The whole ownership experience has been less than desirable and not what you would expect from a higher end brand. The whole technology behind the car is very immature, I would go with another brand.
