Sometimes it's the simple things that make the biggest difference. Add some personal style to your New WRX using these Sticker Fab emblem and tail light overlays! GET YOURS HERE: www.importimageracing.com/pag...
Can you make a combo set that includes overlays for the front headlights to cover the amber corner? Would love to buy the set of four from you for my gray 2022!
Honestly it would probably be best to wait for some aftermarket options to hit the shelves for the 2022, the oem exhaust upgrades never really add much if you're looking for a louder exhaust.
Question, do you all know yet if the wiring is there for future A/M mods? As in, that DRL led strip that is optional, the door sill led strip, and the light up front emblem....is the wiring there for the A/M to tap into later down the road instead of having to buy it from Subaru?
We haven't tested that yet but we are betting not likely. The brz doesn't have wiring for the jdm Fog Bezel. Now the oem options potentially, the door sills and light up Emblem I'm sure have some kind of harness somewhere ready to plug in.
What temperature should these be applied? I tried to install them looked good after I put them on them 30 mins later they looked awful they didn't look nice and smooth.
It is recommended to install them between 70-80°f for best results. I'm assuming you're talking about the tail lights overlays? Those were the only wet install and could end up looking rough if you don't. Squeegee all of the water out from behind them. If it is small air bubbles the breathable film should allow them to evaporate out after a few days.
It will be a little more difficult to peel off after it's been on a year or two but this vinyl is very durable and rated for 5+ years so if and when you eventually remove it it shouldn't get brittle like some vinyl and should all peel off in one peice.
@@ImportImageRacing right on! Thank you for the reply. I’ve already got in an order from you guys👍 was just curious down the road if decide to sell or change style if it’s possible to revert back to the original
You may need to use some light heat from a heat guy to pull it off. Even still, there is a chance it will leave a sticky residue, but 3M makes a great product for removing the adhesive goop.
We can't guarantee color match because they're generic colors however the blue one we Installed matched our rally blue pretty close. I'm sure orange would be pretty close as well
Is the emblem on the front grill now a whole piece instead of something that can be detached and swapped? I tried heating it to remove it and after much time on the blow dryer and much failure with the screwdriver I am of the opinion it is now one single piece that is embedded within the grill and would need to have the entire front end removed to swap out. Can you guys confirm this is the case, in which case the overlays here make total sense for convenience sake.
The front Emblem is different and I belive its different because subaru now offers a Light up Emblem option. But it's still removable from the grill via 3 screws in the back of the Emblem.
@@ImportImageRacing Just as I thought. I haven't seen anyone offering a modded replacement for this particular emblem, and taking the front end off will wait until the day a replacement emblem is available and I want to replace the grill as well. I guess it's the vinyls for now.
Being a brand new car, all y6ou need to do is let them sit out in the sun for a few minutes and carefully pry up on them with a trim removal tool. Ours came off without leaving any residue behind.
Honestly it makes a huge difference and makes the back end look so much better!! It’s crazy how such a small modification aka decal can change the look in a good way!
@@ImportImageRacing Aren't tail light overlays illegal? Forgot your in Floriduhh where making fake tax regions(disney) and about ever other dumb thing is a-OK. No really though, with all the recent EPA crackdowns seems like a bad idea to be selling an item like this. Unsafe at a mininum, speaking from years of driving experience and being behind tards with tinted film garbage on their lights. Anyway, I really don't give two dukes, just trolling and enjoying getting the sensitive little internet morons riled up. Not IIR, you guys have been helping fools like me with a place to buy parts since back when Josh ran the entire op so credit where credit is due.
