Details? We need details! Color, wheels, interior, seats, performance and technology upgrades? Basically _all_ the options you chose for this glorious (and elusive) Carrera T model. Chalk color, exclusive design rims, sports design package in high gloss black, glass sunroof, rear seats, folding mirrors, side decal delete, exclusive design tail light, seat belts in grey, dashcam preparation, extended fuel tank and (don't hate me) PDK. 3 month wait, new dealership, strong relationship building to get the allocation. Goal is a gt3 in a couple of years. This car is bridge until then. The gt3 I'll get manual, the T is going to be a tourer/daily.

@@a004 we have similar tastes! I love the chalk color, it’s a must. Im trying to do all of the above minus sport design package. Looking to have rear steering and a PDK also. This would be my first Porsche.

I've got a pink (iris) Mustang that didn't sell well thirty years ago.. but it aged really well and looks beautiful today. Only people who don't love it tend to be older men with hang-ups.

The T should be a great option for those who want a 911 with a bit of everything, but based on my search, even a gently used one comes at an absurd premium. I'm looking at one in this color and it's almost 30 grand above this featured model, and about 20 grand more than a new one with similar options in the configurator. Porsche used to not be like this, but now they're all "you can't have a new one without an allocation, and we'll rake you over the coals with dealer markups."

Porsche 911 is really something as a product. Which car in this world could rock the same form of appearances and architecture for the past 30-40 years (as far as i know for my car years). What a craft!!

Actually, the 911 celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2023. It's amazing that this variant still looks a lot like the original, well maybe except for the stroke inducing color.

@@DMCarReviewsactually the 911 is redesigned more than just about every car in this segment, every 7 years or so. And just because it may look similar because it shape doesn’t drastically change, the car mechanically is constantly changing….including new engines, transmissions, body structure, and suspension

Needs to be more affordable if they are targeting the younger generation. It's so overpriced, and slower than a BMW M440i.

@@DMCarReviews It definitely is overpriced, however, that’s the point of a Status Symbol Halo Car like the Bush 9/11. Porsche is aiming the GT3 trim for the brat kids of billionaires, 16 year olds with youtube channels, because they know that target market will not care about how much they put on daddy’s credit card. The only working class people that buy Porsche's new are retiring nurses, lawyers, engineers, scientists, and doctors that usually buy base models of the Macan, Cayenne, Cayman, Boxster, 911. The people like us that love performance BMW’s, we know we are not in the market for a Porsche right now.

This colour is a special release for the 2023 75th anniversary. It was announced in November 2022 for the 718 style edition. Rumour has it that it will end in April or May 2024. Then it will be PTS only.

911's have been using them since 2012. Corvettes had them from 2014-2019. Aston Martin has also used them.

I have a 2023 Carrera T with a 7-spd and it's awesome but takes a bit of getting used navigating the 4 gates (not including reverse).

The name Clubsport is more fitting than Touring for this model tbh. No idea what Touring is supposed to mean on a model with weight reduction done to it.

Touring in this case stems from Touring Car Racing and the need for Porsche to make a lightweight production model that would serve as the homogenized street version to be legal to race (back in the sixties). So... not your traditional definition of touring.

High horsepower numbers are just that ....numbers. Actual driving abilities and the way a car feels on the road and in the turns, is a different beast altogether. This 911 is perhaps the essence of a driving machine.

...or for $1800 you can simply tune the base to performance slightly higher than the GTS and still be under the S price.

@@thespectralsorrows for $1800 I added a Cobb tune to my 991.2 Carrera and got increases in HP and torque, mostly torque.

I thought the same thing but the T is a better car than the S because of all of the extra goodies you get from the GTS and GT3. You cannot spec the car with the lightweight glass and battery and less insulation on the S. The T which has the base motor has smaller turbos than the S so the motor acts more like a non turbo charged motor because it doesn't have the lag of the larger turbos. The base motors are being dynoed at 420hp at the crank instead of the 379 that the factory claims so it is plenty fast for the street. And, like mentioned below you can chip these cars to get massive increases that make it even faster than the GTS. I couldn't be happier with the T and its the perfect blend of power and handling for the street in my opinion. I was happy to save the $50k on T vs the GTS.

yes you can. It only comes in black but you can change the stiching and seatbelts. Mine is python green with lixard green accents and the centers of the seats is this really cool sportex with green striping. This interior can be speced with any exterior color. Its unique only to the T and is a must! Easy to look up pictures of it online.

$126K for this, what a joke! For 126K, you can get an M4 xDrive for yourself, and save the rest for a house downpayment. The M4 is a way faster, more engaging, and technological car.
