I joined up with a couple of railfan people both new and old during this early May day trip on the CSX Mohawk Subdivision. We spent most of the day together before going separate ways later on in the afternoon.
Train action wise, I must say this was one of the busiest days I have ever seen. The morning rush from just before 5 AM to just after 7 AM was really busy - I picked six out of nine trains during this period. The next busy period came during the evening hours and in between, trains are quite spread out.
Overall, I had a wonderful time on this beautiful day!
