I scored a brand new 2020 f150 xlt on black friday in 2020. Got 10k rebate. Timing was awesome. The chip shortage came and then the truck market got real stupid. Needless to say I'm praying my truck stands the test of time. I have no ambition to buy another one, especially with these prices.

Not sure what's dated, tho it's cheaper so it's not bad. The 10 speed is the same in both trucks tho the setup might be different, the Ford is probably a bit more tuned for a sporty performance overall if that is what you are experiencing, but I honestly haven't heard many complaints about it being not as smooth, ironically the opposite of what I said is what I hear, which is it's too smooth or not as sporty as some reviewers say for some reason, so I don't know who to believe at this point since everyone is contradicting each other.

The afm on the chevy activates on idle and rarely at low cruising speeds. The LZ0 turbo diesel against the Ford would be interesting as well. If you go turbo on a new truck, make it diesel. They're built to handle it. Not a Ford V6...lol....that's funny...yall people are crazy....it's the same gimmick as the turbo 4 gas engines replacing V6 engines. I personally think the 2024 looks better and cooler, but to each their own I guess. Also from what I've heard the DEF only needs filled like every oil change unless towing alot, then obviously sooner than that interval. Ford sets the bar and the others try to jump over it. The 5.3 is a joke, Ford’s 2.7EB makes more power, is faster, more fuel efficient and can tow as much as the 5.3.

@@khakiswagyou are comparing a 10yr old N/A V8 to current offerings from other manufacturers. The 5.3 made more hp and tq than 2.7 10yrs ago and the 5.0 that year made only 30hp more and like 4lb of tq more. GM finally updated their 10yr old interiors. Now they need to update their 10yr old powertrain offerings.
