2024 Chevy Trax // Tech and Value that SURPRISE! ($21,495) 

Wow, the current Trax is a vehicle that I would NEVER consider. This one appears to be light years ahead of the outgoing. I can’t wait to drive one.

My daughter has a 2018 Trax, which she really likes. I’ve gotta say I thought Chevy was about done with the Trax. I’m totally surprised at the radical redesign. I’m quite impressed. Thank you guys for this story.

Say what you want about the longevity. The fact they didn't put a cvt transmission in this car is a win for me!

Chevy has hit the styling nail on the head with this flowing, muscular design-- nary a sharp crease or line on it as is the current fad. If I had to guess at the price , I would have put either of these in the low to mid thirties, and was almost blown out of my chair that these two top models are $25k including shipping; in other words, a CRAZY value! Chevy, you're gonna sell as many of these as you can possibly churn out. Great review, thanks guys!

The first generation Trax was definitely an experiment..... This new one is pure redemption

I avoid anything with a turbo, especially from GM and Ford. If you change your car every couple years then go for it, but if you keep them for decades like I do, then it's a bad investment in the long-term.

Should have called it the T-RAX, I wish they could have changed the name at least because this shares nothing with the old Trax set up or how its perceived, I think they are using the Cruze platform since it is the same dimensions. I am actually excited for this thing.

Interior is nicely design. American brands are usually behind international brands when it comes to interior design. Glad to see them improve.

Nice-looking vehicle, but I have one critique. The black wheels should have gone to the RS model, and the other wheels should have gone to the Activ model. I think that makes a lot more sense. Looks like Chevy wasn't thinking properly. 🤪

Chevy 2022 Equinox and Trailblazer Have A Major Engine Problem Intercoolers icing over on some GM three- and four-cylinder engines is causing problems and diagnostic trouble codes indicating different issues occurring. The affected three- and four-cylinder engines include the 1.5-liter I4 LYX used in the 2018-2022 Chevy Equinox and GMC Terrain. The 1.2-liter I3 LIH is found in the 2020-2022 Buick Encore GX and Chevy Trailblazer. The 1.3-liter I3 L3T is in the 2020-2022 Buick Encore, Chevy Trailblazer, and the 1.4-liter LE2 9n comes in the 2016-2019 Chevy Cruze models.

They should have named it the Seeker as well, it is so different than the outgoing Trax it should have been named differently.

I have a 2016 trax & its a mechanical nightmare at only 80,500 miles! It sucks in the snow or any wet roads, and right now due to mechanical issues i only drive it 10 minutes to work & back, otherwise we take my wife’s 21 rogue instead. might be interested if they offered all wheel drive, my next suv will have all wheel drive, but mechanically it needed a major overhaul

Interior is still very GM but interesting EV and subcompact-compact suv lineup Chevy has coming out.

If Chevy do the effort to focus in high quality construction materials for the 2024 Chevy Trax I will consider one.

It's hard to believe the new 2023 Trax will start out at $21,000 when the current Trax is starting at $23,000 for the base model & looks like a cheap Hotwheel.

Nice looking vehicle but I don’t like the jet engine looking vents. An AWD is a must for me. Sad they didn’t bring this forward to 2024.

I absolutely love the look of the Trax, but I can not overlook using a 1.2L, three cylinder motor. Yes, yes I know it's turbo. Noone is asking for a rinky-dink engine.

For the most part is looks great However the reason for going to an SUV was the higher stance. I have a 2016 Trax and Im 5'8" I slide in and out perfectly. Also I get 35 mpg highway and 30 city. I am looking for a longer model. I hope I could add electric tailgate and some other options.

Avoid all 3 cylinder engine vehicles!!! They will not last!!! Too much weight for 3 cylinders!!! These engines are not durable and it doesn’t matter who the manufacturer is. The problem that 3 cylinder engines have is that the load is simply too much which in turn overworks the engine. This diminishes the life expectancy of these engines. From BMW to Ford, all three cylinder engines suffer from this deficiency. Avoid at all cost!!! Save your money and buy a 4 cylinder or preferably a six cylinder. The Chevy Trax looks great but no 4 cylinder engine!!! Avoid major headaches and buy something with at least a 4 cylinder engine.

LED's are not expensive. They're used so many places in electronics it's are to count. Yes, the part price at the GM parts counter are stratospheric, but it's mostly markup.

I'm a little concerned that this thing is underpowered. It is a relatively large size vehicle and a 1.2 liter won't cut it. It is a beautiful looking vehicle though.

They did a MAJOR redesign for the Trax!! Kinda resembles the Seeker, but still an awesome looking vehicle!! I'm still eyeing the Blazer EV RS and the Equinox EV RS tho'!

I want small cars back again, GM. Gas-powered, but no CVT's, no 3-cylinders, not without chain-driven timing gear, and no turbos. Don't need AWD, or a crossover. I have a pickup, lots of us do. The price on this Trax is not bad, but the tiny engine is a no go. And why do all your vehicles look alike? Without looking for the model nameplate emblem, I can never tell for sure what model I'm looking at. Consumers are not as stupid as your marketing department thinks we are. We can tell what's a Chevy, without all your models looking alike, as long as there's a bow-tie on it.

Can't wait to order a 2024 Chevrolet Trax Activ Trim. I really hope Chevrolet adds an LED optional upgrade to the taillights.

Ok, lets be clear about this Trax, Chevrolet had renamed the chinese SUV Seeker to Trax (do some research at least). The chinese Seeker (aka Trax) has a 4 cylinder 1.5 turbo engine with 180 HP, a more powerfull engine for the chinese market …. Well done Chevy !!!
