I payed $31,000 for an XLT in 2007. I won't pay $75,000 for an XLT.....NO WAY!

Well, yeah. The technology in a 2007 didn't cost as much to make as it does now in 2024. The transmissions in particular are way more expensive than the ones available in 2007. Not to mention all the memory and sensors that talk back and forth throughout the entire vehicle is kind of crazy. I'm not saying it should be as much as it is, but $60K-$65K is reasonable.

My 2016 XLT was $48,000. $75,000 was not an option this year when I decided to trade in. Ended up buying a full loaded Certified Nissan Titan Pro4x with 5300 miles for $47,500. Has more features than an XLT. Easy decision.

Horse balls at this price, Americas love sensationalizing transportation. I spend 35 minutes a day commuting so 75k is brain damaged prices for this. It better give toast and an HJ for this price.

It's not just about cost. You have to look at the fact that's for the 303A package. All F150s now have a TON of standard things that hadn't been invented in '07. Add in inflation and other outside factors, it's not apples to apples.

Base XLT 301A 4x4 supercrew is 53k msrp just bought a 24 XLT 302A black appearance pkg 4x4 supercrew for $49,900 after 5k in combined rebates and dealer discount of over 3k.

I bought a xlt 302a in 2017 for 42k which I thought was a ton at the time but 75k for an xlt 7 years later is flat out robbery. 30k ish plus increase in 7 years that’s stupid.

No way!. I have a 2016 XLT with every option available at the time. Paid 41000 for it. 35000 for some gadgets is ridiculous. I don't need to get to the moon. I just need a dependable truck.

I paid $54k for my F150 XLT FX4 brand new in 2017 and that’s with leather too. I’ve got 61k miles on it (low mileage for a 2017) ain’t no way I’m paying $75k for the exact same truck just different year model… and I love the F150 too!

Sad to say buddy but they ain’t dropping prices that low for used trucks. Looked at the used xl stx and dealers were still asking $40k+ on 2021s with over 20k miles. Better to go new in some instances or just not buy overpriced trucks.

Beautiful truck for about 45K. Ain't no way I'd give 75 large for it. Cloth seats, no pano roof, no automatic running boards. The camera would be so much cooler without the stupid messages, at least provide a setting to turn them off. The drive modes are nice but again, so much nicer for the truck to remember and keep your settings until you change them. This is like always adjusting the seat to a 5'-3" driver when you are 6'-3". Sure the blue cruise is cool but not much use for it in a big city and that sure looks like it adds a whole lot of cost. I think Ford sales are going to drop like a rock unfortunately.

Nope Paid 54 MSRP with 0% back in 21 for my XLT 5.0 302a I'm halfway through paying for it. Hopfully 25 years from now I'll be the old cool guy with the mint 21 fitdy. Its not sustainable Ford you gonna have to choke up on your bat. You better keep the XLT mid-grade with just a little tech like the big screen and several cool drive modes for guys like me you know blue collar types. How hard is it to run the #'s to know how many fancy ones you need to make for 1%er's. 💙 the channel

Base XLT 301A 4x4 supercrew is 53k. Same configuration STX is 50k but you get way more for that extra 3k. This 24 XLT with 303A plus almost every package has 16k in optional equipment and like he said can go to 20k or 73k

Not a Ford truck owner, although I do own a '73 Mach 1. I'm soooo glad I bought my '23 Titan XD Pro4X earlier this year. $54K OTD and it has leather, moon roof, trailer brake controller and all the other options that were available from the factory. I am missing the auto start/stop and cylinder deactivation though 🙂. $75K is outrageous.

My 2016 was a loaded XLT 302a with everything except a trailer brake. MSRP was $56k - $2k for package savings. Then I paid $43,200 after dealer and manufacture rebates and less my personal cash rebate & First responder discount. I’m not paying anywhere close to $75k… you close to Raptor money.

Granger Ford in Iowa will sell you a new F150 for 4% UNDER invoice ($2-3000 cheaper than you). I just bought my ‘24 King Ranch (2 trim levels higher and loaded) from Granger for $67k.

Bought my new '23 Rattler for 55K and love it (came from an '06 XLT Triton that I sold off personally with over 200k miles and only issue had was rear diff got waterlogged and A/C stopped working just 2 years before sell), came with everything I wanted for basic off-roading and not the whole tech package that I personally wouldn't be using after initial drive. Been upgrading it to my liking and haven't looked back since, definitely a keeper in my book.

Yeah, I got a 2021 f150 xlt in 302A. It has the tail gate release and the full size 120 outlet. Only 400w on it tho. Been thinking about doing a mod to get more power. Also has the 360 cam setup. I think he just forgot it's a thing.

Other than Blue Cruise my 2022 has all those tech feature. 360 camera, tailgate dampener, etc. were all available in 2021/2022. Really digging the grill and smoked out headlights though.

I ordered a 2024 Ford F-150 4X4 XLT 302a package, 157" wheelbase, 3.5L Powerboost Full Hybrid, Mobile Office package including wireless charging pad, Tow Haul package, Bed Utility package, and tow mirrors. MSRP was $62935.00. The 303a package is $4770.00 over the 302a package. It would only add 20" chrome wheels, B&O sound system, and power pedals over what I ordered. In reality, if one would have ordered a 2023 model equipped like my 2024 it would have listed for around $66000.00

I don’t think you should have the ability to disable blue cruise but I think you should be able to adjuster the parameters, either or it adjusts on the fly.

I've noticed similar equipped trucks go up about 2k in MSRP every year. I bought a fully loaded 15 Platinum used and the sticker was 61k. A year ago i bought a fully loaded 22 Platinum used and the sticker was 75k. Yeah it would be nice if the MRSP stayed the same from year to year, but that's never gonna happen ! I have Blue Cruise now with a leveling kit with no problems. I believe you should be able to disable Blue Cruise with a big lift. Now with Ford making Blue Cruise a subscription, i don't believe a lot of people are going to renew anyways.

I’m with everyone here! In 2006 I purchased a loaded lariat and I was under $40K! There’s no way in hell is anything worth what manufacturers are asking and then the dealer markups! I have a 13 yo and a 6 yo vehicle that I keep on top condition and my wife’s 23 sienna platinum was right at $50K but it’s a hybrid and a Toyota! (3kids)

You're saying the power release tailgate is new for 2024 on F150... But my 2015 F150 has a button for that on the dash, and it has it on the keyfob also. Did it go away and then come back as an option? I know the heated steering wheels did.

I was one of those dumb people who bought a new Truck about every 2 years just because. Did that for about 20 years. In 2021 I bought a New F150 Lariat 502a plus MSRP 68500 has everything but massaging seats. NO WAY IN HELL WILL I BUY A NEW VEHICLE WITH THESE PRICES. I hope everyone else feels this way and teaches these greedy Truck companies a lesson. Screw you FORD, CHEVY, GMC and RAM.

Sure you will sell a new F150 at invoice pricing. Ford has tons of them. They are selling very slow. A $75,000 XLT ? Thats insane. Ford really needs to pull their pricing back down. So I am guessing the Platinum is $100,000? Everyone needs to wait for the $10,000 rebates and even that might not do the trick. My 2015 Platinum has every option and I got it out the door for $55,000 and I thought that was nuts. Good thing I'm retired now, and I don't drive too much anymore so my 2015 will last me 10 more years.

I purchased a 2022 F-150 Lariat in 2023. Well below MSRP of $70K. Looks like this year's XLT is the 2022 Lariat, "leather" trim. But, I did get the 4WA which the XLT doesn't look like it has. I still think I paid too much for the Lariat even though it was well below MSRP. So, $75K for an XLT? Yeah, I think it's too much. Planning keep what I got. I should have kept the 2020 XLT. BUT, I do like the comfortable interior.

After owning a 2022 Stx with painted bumpers and rims The Crome makes me sick inside. And don’t think I could ever have it ever again. I have the power outlet in the back four-wheel-drive rear locker big backseat four-door at 51K I might give this one back and get a brand new. Chevy, Colorado trail boss. 41k it has the same size tires as the F150 with a/ts and a small lift with lower monthly payment for a lease

New f150’s should not cost that much! My 2011 FX4 is well equipped and cost $48k new. In 2014 when we bought it used with 40k miles we paid $28k. The truck now has over 235k miles on original engine and transmission and has paid for itself many times over the last 10 years as a cross country work truck. Put multicontour seats into a premium level Maverick and I may consider but a new Ford but until then; used f150s are the best value for economically struggling consumers. Do better Ford. Good job TC customs for putting out content.

The only way I'd buy a modern truck is if I could pick and choose every single option myself, which you can't. For example, I want 4x4, leather, heated seats, nice stereo, but don't want all those stupid cameras and nanny electronic monitors. My own brain and eyes still work pretty good.

i love how people are comparing the cost to something they bought years and years ago. you could get a chocolate bar for 25cents in the 1950s. prices keep increasing, get used to it. the different ford is doing is including a bunch of stuff for your money. the stx is the new bang for your buck, not the xlt anymore. not to mention most well spec'd full size suv's are in the $60k+ range. even some minivans can get up there in price. is the xlt the trim to get, nope. not anymore. now it's the stx. kinda goes with the limited no longer being offered.

I just bought a 2024 F150 3.5L ecoboost 4x4 super crew cab for $55,000. 75K is way overpriced. My truck has all the same features including the toughbed lining with a 36gl tank.

I paid 56,000 for my 22 XLT 302a 3.5L with a lot of other options like bedliner, lockbox, 360 cam, heavy tow package, tech trailer pkg, sport pkg, remote tailgate release, bed utility package, Outlet, adaptive cruise control... etc. That was the top I wanted to pay and if they jumped it $10k hell no... 20k more get lost... No XLT should be over 55 in my opinion. $75k can be your raptor or platinum but that is it. Sorry Ford.
