2024 fashion ins and outs 

I love fashion but I used to be stressed about not knowing what to wear bc I wanna to be “original” or “unique”. Then I realised that even when I was dressed simple and chic, the style I think suit me most, I was still considered by my friends as the “fashion girl”. At the end, no mather your style, Just be yourself gurlz ❤

On the whole sustainability/ fast fashion conversation I personally think the sustainable thing to do is for people to buy clothes that they like and will stay in their wardrobe for a long time and understand that might look different from person to person. If someone buys clothes from this great ethical sustainable brand but doesn't actually like the clothes and so doesn't wear them then that doesn't feel like a very sustainable way of buying clothes to me. If someone feels that buying fast fashion is his or her best option at the time, I think that doing research on the quality of clothing from different fast fashion brands would be important. I've heard stories about some fast fashion clothing falling apart after a few wears, but I have items of clothing from fast fashion brands that I've had for over five years, still like, and are still going strong.

I think the only reason I would "dress out of my comfort zone" is if I'm purposefully hiding something I don't like about myself, at the expense of comfort or what I actually want to wear. I'm quite insecure about my arms, and whenever I wear a long sleeve even when it's hot I'm just reminded of that insecurity. So I might be "comfortable" but it's really just making myself small. Last summer I thrifted a cute tank top that was really "me", and while the first few times I wore it I felt a bit weird, after a while I became desensetized to my arms being out. So by dressing out of my comfort zone, I actually expanded it

I actually look forward to trends!! is it something i was looking for? If yes i will purchase if no ill pass Cause in my country we dont really have every style of clothing so we have to wait for something to go in style

Absolutely loved this video, I rant every so often about these things to my best friend when I see conversations about these topics. Or see the effect its having on people or media in general. I would love to see the common man become less guilty for enjoying life and buying in means.. and even out of ones means as a treat. No sole person on your block is the problem. The real problem at the end of the day comes from something more sinister and greedy than even a 200 dollar shein hall a girl trying to gain a platform gets sponsored for. Not to be that guy.. It is still wasteful and puts even idea pollution out there to some. Cannot deny I also just enjoy watching hauls and seasonal collection haul reviews and try ons. But I am conscious enough to know that I won’t feel the urge to buy 10 items because of said video. Anywho, as I was saying, sadly not even a wealthy youtuber doing numerous haul videos monthly is really the issue at the end of the day in the grand scheme of the truth. Their contribution would cease to exist if the massive industries that are chain linked just decided to… Stop. Big shock, I know right? Lol. One of my mates works as an engineer like a prisoner for one of the most insanely massive production and distributing companies in the world, they are the number one in the entire world for carbon emissions, they make every little gosh darn thing you can think of in terms of ingredients for every product you ever have used or consumed in your lifetime or will… And from what I have now seen their factories are disgusting, some better than most. And there is 2 factories in my province alone. Locations all across canada, all over europe. The states.. asia, africa.. south west east damn well in your back yard. Do not feel guilty for going shopping at the mall once in a while and leaving with a freshly made trouser. The average man outside of that 1% has never been the true greed running us into the ground.

OVERCONSUPTION would never be a problem of those who can barely buy clothes (me), I can not overconsume because I don't have the resources to do so and when I buy second (now is even less then previous years) its purely for what I need even tough I would like to own designers pieces because they are so COOL! so maybe in the future but for now my consumption would never be as damaging as someone who buy thousands of dollars in clothes that get thrown away as soon as possible (in this household we rewear over and over again

I think that this is a bad take. While overconsumption is an issue, fast fashion is also a big part of the problem. Fast fashion clothes are designed to not last very long and are inevitably discarded not long after purchase. I don’t think it is on the consumer to fix production issues within large companies necessarily but everyone can do their part to not purchase from certain companies known to be destructive to the environment.

I should probably own more useful clothing though! Love this video, not going to buy anything that does not bring me joy :)))
