Over 50k for a base model is crazy. I bought a '23 stx 4x4 crew with the black package for 45k less than 3 months ago. I keep the smaller screen and analog gauges.

Your prices in America are ridiculous. I just bought my brand new 2023 f150 lariat 502a package for 53k usd (71k cad). FX4 package, 20 inch rims, projector headlights. Only thing the truck doesn’t have is a moonroof. And that included an extended warranty package, oem floor mats, gator back mudflaps, bug deflector, rain guards, and 2 free oil changes. I’m in Canada

Likely cheaper to manufacture a screen vs. physical controls/gauges. It may also streamline the wiring harness as well.

I absolutely love the look of these new F-150's!!! Even this baseline XL looks fantastic! I'm curious to see how much they'll be charging for something like this in Canada and just the new pricing in general across the line for the F-150's. Thanks for the review!

honestly with all the glitches to software these companies had, the simpler analog would be best but can't complain, over all it's a kool truck... to me not $50k kool but kool.

Insane prices. I will say it does have stuff standard that u used to not be able to get on a base truck. Should be 40kmsrp I think all day. I do like the old school 80s look of the xl front end though better than the higher trims. They should do a throwback.

Amazingly good looking for a work truck. Free blackout package! But my 5.0 V8 F150 crewcab gets 22-23 mpg on the freeway.

High payload, seats 6, nice gauge cluster and infotainment screen, great back seat and load area when the seats are up, aluminum body, and a powerful tested motor. I’m ok with the new 2024 truck. The price is Biden fault.

Why does a base model truck come with that big of a screen, no wonder it costs that much (btw that screen is like twice the size than the one in my fuly loaded 2022 crv)

Most interesting for me is not the overpriced base model truck. Rather,the views of the snow covered hills this from a flatlander in the Midwest.

i got a 2022 xl.. and i like the front grill on those better... the tail light is nicer on the 2024 but that's about the only difference... interior is exactly the same as well, other the the digital dash which i could care less about... i'll keep my 2022 and be happy with the front grill look..

I’m not even going to lie, i wouldn’t be mad about owning and daily driving this specific truck shown here. I don’t agree with the $50,000 price tag but I am very impressed with the features the interior has with it being a barebones work truck 🤷‍♂️

Those taillights look like their from a nissisn titan/frontier, I don’t remember but ford is known to “ using” other companies designs🤦

My 2009 that’s been paid off for 10 years and still drives like new is nothing but money in the bank. I guess it’s going to have to last me forever at todays ridiculous truck prices.

Ford seems to be premium with 4x4 models. In RWD this truck is prob 44 to 45K sticker. Still a lot.

Wow. If people buy these it's because they need to keep up with the jones. I have a actual xl work truck. It's a 22. No options. 32k. They just add screens to charge more now.

I like the F150, but this does not look good with those wheels and tires. Its also way overpriced. I'd consider buying it for under 40k...

Definitely agree with everyone here. 50k is way too much for a work truck 1/2 ton. If it was a 1 ton diesel it wouldn’t be too far fetched. 🤷‍♂️

I really like the new grille and tail lights. All I would add to this truck is a 5.0 and the trailer tow package. It is overpriced though.

I like analogue gauges not a flickering screen that is bad enough on my laptop don't want that driving. Cars are techno junk not worth the huge cost for plastic light up fake everything...ugh!!
