My 2018 GT Premium has slight misalignment of the hood and front fenders. I don’t care - there’s not another car remotely close to its price that comes close for sheer driving pleasure . Stone cold love the car, in fact I love it even more after 60,000+ miles. 🤠
You can adjust hood height ,side to side and front uneven corners too so no worries .they are made fast all have different gaps from factory .believe me we have 2 ponies .
Have you seen the actual S650 or live vicariously through U-Tube videos. Having seen both the GT and Dark Horse. I'm not seeing your complaint. These press cars get the crap beat out of them.
The Challenger was way too porky to be called a “Pony Car”. I love my Mustang, but I’m sad to see the Camaro go. The Mustang made the Camaro a better car, the Camaro made the Mustang a better car.
You are right 100% when the Camaro went away in 2003 the mustang performance just stalled out but when the Camaro came back the HP war took off. Competition improves the market.
Seems to be an epidemic of condensation in head lights, my new car I got in 2022 had that issue, they replaced the unit but still what a shock in this day and age.
Was looking at the Nissan Z, Supra and now this and the Mustang kinda underwhelms me compared to the others. Looks cool but man I don't think the handling would be up to par compared to the previous mentions.
Good review, but the Mustang is absolutely disappointing. Serious lack of design. Resembles vintage Mazda. Definitely not getting my money or Attention for one. 😢
I don't mind the design, but to think this will be the new look for the next 5 years makes me tiresome. Wish they would put out more model designs more frequently
“Wide and heavy”, not precise or nimble sports car for about $60k. Miata loaded up in the top trim is more fun to drive and $40k; it’s a convertible too!
Entire Interior dashboard is a downgrade from S550. They removed physical buttons, cd player etc etc and tacked on a display that is not even integrated looking in the dash surrounding that will age terribly, looks glued on and not very thought out. Also ruined the traditional Mustang double hump dash design every previous model had.
If you drive a GT series racecar. You'll find that the gauges are digital. The reason is simply because they're more accurate than analog. The Gen 4 Coyote has more than dual throttle bodies and Header style Exhaust manifolds or it's 7500+ redline. I recommend speaking with a Ford performance engineer for more details. I have to ask. Why totally redesign the Mustang which would increase the price over the S650. Your sounding like the designer who built the Probe as the redesigned Mustang. I think Ford refined the Mustang lineup from the EcoBoost, GT, the new track focused Dark Horse S. The Dark Horse R, GT3 and GT4 and the upcoming Mustang GTD Super Car.. Consider the competition has dropped their cars that competed with the Mustang. I believe Ford has moved the Mustang far enough to continue it beyond it's current 50 years of continued production.
Why oh why did Ford NOT put a front camera on this 2024 GT, OR, at the very least, front parking sensors?? With that LOW front end it would seem to me, in this day and age, SOME kind of something on the front end would be a no brainer. I don't get why Ford skipped this on this car.
The knockoff iPads or “premium” single, knockoff iPad look like cheap, aftermarket junk velcro’d to the dash. Replacing actual buttons with touchscreen buttons makes the car less safe to drive and just doesn’t flow with the mustang interior at all.
No side scoops, too much plastic, the front isn't Mustang, neither is the back end. It's a nice looking sports car but that's no Mustang. I wouldn't buy it. Only youngsters who've never actually had a Mustang would think this is a Mustang. Anyone else would laugh at it being called a Mustang. Sorry Ford - you've killed the pony car.
What an ugly car! I'm a Ford guy and own a 2012 Ford Mustang. It seems the 2024 car has grown in size which is not desirable. The grill looks like a truck grill, and it makes the mustang look very ugly. The side profile (back end) looks like a Camero, this is ok, but a mustang should have its own distinctive profile. The giant display is the worst. This looks so ugly with fingerprints in the sun. It does not have the sporty look of the old. Give actual buttons, knobs and gauges. I will never, ever trade my 2012 for 2024. Ford - you are going downhill with this mustang.
