2024 Honda SCL500 - RAW POV First Impressions from a Grom Owner

I've always found the Honda 471cc to be a bit of a mixed bag. Its a bit old and heavier compared to the other competitors within the 500cc range, (CFMoto, Kawi etc.) I owned an older CB300F and didn't mind that but it was quite underpowered I feel to hold into longer than just a beginner bike. The equal Naked 500 and newer 750cc Hornets are equal weight for a significantly better engine in the 750. For a new bike these days I can't recommend it as I think you get better bang for bike with other bikes when comparing anything with the Honda 500 (471cc) engine. I would like to see your thoughts on this vs the Triumph Scrambler 400 too.

Reminds me of the bikes my dad raced back in the 60's. Hare scrambles type racing!

I have this bike and a Yamaha xt250, the seat height of the cl500 is lower, believe or not, i'm not lying or crazy!

it's cool but nothing like a inline 4 i have a grom and a cb600f it is a beast !
