I think it's all due to the weird YT algorithm. Personally, whenever I would look up a Kia or Hyundai model YT would never show me this channel. I had to do extra searching to end up here. And it's been nice. My first Korean channel that I subscribed to was motorgraph world, which is also good but not as consistent and thorough as car scene Korea!
@@porfiriato84 agree. My first was Asian Petrolhead and soon after was CarSceneKorea. But after Asian Petrolhead left YT, CarSceneKorea has been my go to channel.
I love what KIA did to the refresh. Technology is on par as usual. However, the new 2024 Santa Fe has stole my heart! I love to boxy Land Rover Defender look. Maybe because I always wanted a Land Rover, but can't afford the luxury price. Santa Fe is an exception. It has the Defender look without the Defender price. I must say, every time Hyundai/KIA/Genesis has something new out, I get excited like a kid in a candy store! I swear the designers are having more fun than any other brands! I can't wait to see what's next!
Our 2012 Sorento needs to be replaced soon, and I told my husband to just pick a Kia. I don't care which one, they are knocking it out of the park right now! I decide what I want, and then they come out with something better, so at this rate I'll never make a decision. 😂 Great review, thanks!!
We were going to wait to buy the 2023 Kia Sorento but we wanted them to update the interior with the infotainment screen like the rest of the line up and now we don't know if we want to get the 2024 Sorento or the new 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe. We love them both but waiting for pricing in the US.
damn kia model look swag now , after changing logo . i have LexusRX350 is make me want to tradin my car to buy Kia ❤️ i think Kia gonna poppular in future 👍🏼
KIA can make the Sorento a more thoughtful vehicle by: 1) extending the ambient light to the rear doors, just like what the front doors have, & 2) lighting up the cabin light of the boot whenever opening a car door (not only the boot) so that it can light up the 3rd row for better access (since most of the models come with a 3rd row seats).
I was sad we didn't get the dial shifter as standard in the US. If we get the ergo motion seat in the us, that could definitely be a buy for me. I like this more than the Santa Fe.
KIA and Hyundai really have come a long way. Hoping Toyota and Honda can step up their conservative game a bit. I’d def get this over the Hyundai, but the 80s box style doesn’t look as bad as some claim.
Do you know what isn't included in the fully loaded model? Things I'm curious on: Will 3rd row still have own A/C? Is the Terrain option standard? Window blinds included?
@@CarSceneKorea according to redline he said although it’s not in the preproduction they told him it would be coming to the production models. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oqUunINLMkI.htmlsi=DS03jroEiX4c-pZq&t=13m30s
I don't think I've missed it, people would've been all over it if it were applied to Sorento and I haven't heard any buzz about it. Hope I missed it then, I also really wish there'd be the wireless AA & CarPlay.
Both gasoline and diesel had their fuel efficiency decrease about 0.2km/L due to enhanced safety regulation. However, the hybrid got about 5 hp upgrade.
@@CarSceneKorea that's unfortunate. I like this look better than the new Santa Fe but if mileage doesn't improve I'm not sure it's worth a switch. Too bad they didn't do grill shutters to improve mileage like with the new Santa Fe.
Yeah that third row is practically useless, too tight. They should just leave that to the Telluride and EV9, or at least offer a 5-seater option on the Sorento (like they did on the last generation - USA doesn’t get a 5 seat option).
not sure if you're meaning 3rd(Kia) and 8th(Hyundai) reliability ranking out 32 brands mean dog*hit for you? [2023 reliability study by JD power] Also, Kia was the champion for 2022 LOL
Before the facelift the Sorento exterior is still one of the most beautiful SUVs, the facelift ist ugly, the front is not that beautiful but its ok, the bachlights are ugly as shit.... KIA whats wrong.....
Pre facelift is a classic masculine front end. If you squint enough might look like a jeep. The new front end is more modern semi Telluride ish but not as classic so a bit hard to swallow. Not as pretty but still not too bad. Overall still a great car.
