hey Sam…that black bar on the gti clubsport is part of a special black package that is offered…I don’t think that red bar disappears on the regular gti when the lights are off…if you notice the headlight housings on the clubsport are also blacked out as part of the package

If you choose black style option 9:34 it removes red bar from 2:21 and ads mirrors black housing and headlight inside black .

Kings Red looks great with Black Style, as this package darkens front optics as well which work really well with Kings Red colour. Pay attention to it. You can also see the "black optics" in the GTI Clubsport overview by other youtubers.

Nice one Sam, gives us all an idea of what to expect ,just going back to the leather option,a couple of times on another channel when he reviews the golf he's said that the cloth seats are more comfortable than the leather ,I know that they don't look no where near as good ,just wondered if you have experienced this driving the different variants that you have?

I have a 8 gti with the black package & 1 of the parts is a black stripe on the front instead of the red

I would not expect it to be offered at under £40K here, which has been the price effectively for the mk8 GTI.

The Golf GTi 8.5 also appeared on the French configurable, but can’t remember the price of it there.

And yet another nice little update on the new 8.5 GTI Sam very interesting with lots of extras that take the price right up unfortunately!!😬 Let see if the Clubsport or the R comes loaded with extras rather than having to add all different extras!!🤔👌🏻👍🏻
